Enjoying a rural location, this stylishly reimagined property offers cosy accommodation for up to six guests, making an ideal holiday retreat for families and friends discovering a spectacular part of the North Wales countryside. The scenic market town of Llanfyllin is just a mile away and with a beautiful walk form the property through the woods, you can easily drop into town where there is a selection of shops, a local pub and a traditional fish and chip shop. This remote part of northern Powys offers miles of wonderful walks, hikes and bike trails for you to uncover, with the beautiful Lake Vyrnwy and Pistyll Rhaeadr Waterfall less than 10 miles away. The eastern border of the magnificent Eryri/Snowdonia National Park is only 15 miles away, or you can head south to the historic town of Welshpool (12 miles), home to the popular Powis Castle and Garden.
Stepping inside this sympathetically updated bungalow, the welcoming hall has ample space for leaving coats and boots before you head through to the light-filled lounge. With ample seating, a wood burner, a mobile Smart TV and French doors leading onto the patio, the lounge is a fantastic space for everyone to unwind in peace. From here, youâll find the elegant open-plan kitchen/diner with a spacious main dining table and a sleek, fully equipped kitchen with a handy utility room. Exploring this fresh and inviting hideaway further, youâll discover three bright and cosy bedrooms: a snug bunk bedroom with adult-size bunks, a cheerful twin, and a stylish king-size room with an invigorating en-suite shower room featuring a double walk-in shower. The accommodation is rounded off with a refreshing family bathroom.
Heading outside, the extensive wraparound gardens are enclosed and elevated, with a charming patio offering plenty of seating. Relax here, a lovely spot for a BBQ or evening drinks around the fire pit and take in the glorious surrounding views, including horses and chickens in the neighbouring fields. Private parking is available for three cars. The bungalow is next to Bodfach Hall and their working stables; with prior notice owners are happy to accommodate a meet and greet with the horses or an opportunity to walk around Bodfach Hall Gardens. Private parking for 3 cars.
