Tucked in the charming village of Bwlch, this remarkable former chapel offers a truly memorable escape in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park. Sleeping ten guests across five beautifully designed bedrooms, this property’s unique character and direct access to the renowned Beacons Way make it a dream base for those eager to immerse themselves in the wild beauty of the Welsh countryside.

Step inside to discover a stunning blend of original features and contemporary style. The entrance porch, with its pitch pine panelling, sets the tone for the craftsmanship found throughout. The impressive kitchen/diner, crowned by a double-height ceiling and arched chapel windows, is the social heart of the home, with a stylish central island. Upstairs, a light-filled mezzanine level invites you to unwind with its comfortable seating, music station and multi-use games table, all framed by more striking arched windows. When night falls, take your pick from five thoughtfully styled bedrooms: a king-size with en-suite wet room on the ground floor, a double with an en-suite shower room on the mezzanine and the final three bedrooms on the top floor. Here you’ll find two twin rooms that can be made up as super-king-size, both with en-suites, and a king-size with a free-standing bath for ultimate relaxation. There’s also a desk area plus a handy sofa bed for extra guests. Outside, an open-aspect patio is perfect for al fresco dining, while private parking for four cars ensures a hassle-free stay.

Set off on the Beacons Way from your front door or enjoy exhilarating hikes from the nearby Black Mountains and Usk Valley. The scenic Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal is just 2 miles away, ideal for gentle strolls or cycling. Discover local history at Tretowner Court and Castle (3.5 miles) or browse the independent shops and eateries of Brecon, Crickhowell and Hay-on-Wye (within 16 miles).
