There are two bedrooms, a double, and a twin serviced by a bathroom with bath, basin and WC. Outside there is a garden with lawn, furniture, barbecue, and off-road parking for 1 car. Within 0.4 miles, you will find a shop, and pub and within 0.5, a lake. Please note that this is a non-smoking property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Highchair and travel cot available on request. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. 8 Beechwood Close, a stylish base with lake views in Lake District National Park. Note: There is quite a steep hill from Bowness to the apartment; may not be suitable for those with limited mobility or wheelchair users. Note: This property has a GHB of 250 GBP. Orrest Head, where Alfred Wainwright was inspired to write his series of iconic guidebooks, is a 30-minute walk to enjoy the spectacular panorama of far-reaching views over the lake and surrounding fells. Brockhole, which offers high wire tree top experiences, is three miles away, and the historic villages of Grasmere, Ambleside and Troutbeck are a short drive away. There is also a variety of watersports on offer for the more energetic at marine centres along the lake.
