Plakoti Village is located just 2 km from the nearby village of Adele, where you will find mini-markets, cafés, and other amenities.

This tranquil setting is only 4.5 km from the beach and 10 km from the city of Rethymno. The historic Arkadi Monastery—site of the 1866 Cretan sacrifice against Ottoman forces, when locals detonated a gunpowder store to avoid capture—is approximately 15 km from the property.

Within a 40–50 minute drive, you can also visit Drimos Gorge, a site of exceptional natural beauty. Hidden among the rocks of the gorge is the small church of Agios Antonios (Saint Anthony), built directly into the rock face.

Plakoti Village is an ideal destination for a relaxing holiday, offering peace and quiet away from busy tourist areas while remaining close to sandy beaches and Rethymno Town.

A visit to the old town of Rethymno is highly recommended. Its Venetian-era houses, ornate doorways, and minarets create a unique atmosphere that reflects the city’s rich history. Numerous restaurants, cafés, and shops await exploration. At the edge of the old town, the Fortezza Castle offers panoramic views, and visits to the Archaeological Museum and the Folklore Museum of Rethymno will round out the experience.

Located in Plakoti Village, within an island-style complex featuring two shared swimming pools, Anatoli 16 is an excellent choice for families or groups of friends. The property is approximately 20 minutes from the town of Rethymno and just 13 minutes from the nearest organized beach at Platanes.
