Lovely place in Crete

We loved the nice and modern villa with its private pool. The center of Maroulas is two minutes walking distance from the villa. The villa was very clean and the owners so kind and friendly. The best part was all the animals close to the house and the calm environment. We hope to be able to return in the future and thanks for the wonderful time in Maroulas.

The Villa on a Hill

The villa was immacualte and in a beautiful location. Overlooking the coast line with a spacious yard and private pool made it a proper place to escape to but with Rethimno only 10 mins drive away. You'll need a hire car to access the property but the road is easy despite being narrow. Only remote downside was the little farm across the driveway has a peacock and roosters so dont expect a sleep in!

Lovely villa in a perfect setting

This was our second stay at villa Sevos and it has been fully renovated since our last visit in September 22. We loved it before but it's even better now, clean and modern throughout with huge windows to make the most of the stunning views. The morning visits from the peacocks who live at the farm across the way were a highlight of each day. The staff are just as lovely as we remembered from last time and couldn't do enough to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful country retreat and looking forward to booking our next visit.

Overall the house was good but the kitchen utensils need replacing knives were blunt. The pool had not been cleaned. There was a thick layer of grease or suntan

Great holiday with friends!

We booked the Finca for about a week with 2 friends. The communication with Richard was very easy and he made sure that we had everything we needed. We could even check in earlier. The Villa itself just got renovated. The Pool and the Area around the Villa is beautiful. You definetely need a car but you can reach the beach and Rethymno in about 15 Minutes. All in all it was an amazing holiday and i can only recommend booking this Finca for your holiday. We will come back for sure!

Great Home - after rebuilding

Pro: - Great home - after rebuilding in 2022(?). - Contemporary, modern look. Nice furniture. - got one day 12 fresh eggs from the farmer (owner?) next door Cons: Wish it was cleaner: - Silicone in bathroom/shower starting to turn brownish. - Glass room divider upstairs not clean - Windows same - Floor not really clean, you can't see it, but when you run a cloth over it, the cloth gets dirty immediately. - Faucet in bad condition, kind of loose; no filter at the end, so water "spreads" out of the faucet.

Traumhaft schöne Villa und Gegend

Wir haben unseren Sommerurlaub als sechsköpfige Familie in der Villa Sevos verbracht und sind mehr als begeistert. Die Villa und der Pool sind großartig, der Blick auf das Meer atemberaubend schön und die Sonnenuntergänge werden uns lange in Erinnerung bleiben. Die Villa war sehr sauber, der Garten wunderschön gepflegt mit ausreichend Schattenplätzen und der Pool wunderbar, vor allem für die Kinder. Das Team um Yannis war überaus gastfreundlich und stand mit Ausflugs- und Restauranttips zur Verfügung. Wir waren total überrascht, dass das Team zweimal in der Woche zum Putzen der Villa kam und ebenfalls zweimal in der Woche die Betten frisch bezogen hat. Wir fühlten uns sehr herzlich willkommen und umsorgt. Ebenfalls mehrfach gereinigt wurde der Pool. Yannis und sein Team haben uns mit frischen Eiern versorgt und uns Melonen gebracht. Wir sind wirklich sehr beeindruckt von dieser Gastfreundlichkeit und werden sicher wieder kommen. Mehr kann man sich nicht wünschen. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt! Es war ein rundum toller und erholsamer Urlaub, der uns lange in Erinnerung bleiben wird. Danke an Yannis und sein Team!

Lovely place to stay for a relaxing break

Just arrived home from our stay at Villa Sevos and wishing we were back. Lovely villa in a beautiful setting with the best views of the countryside and the sea. The staff are lovely, very friendly and welcoming. If you're looking for a relaxing holiday this is a perfect place to stay. There are a couple of tavernas in walking distance up a very steep hill but definitely worth the effort, especially Mylopetra who serve simple delicious Cretan food. A car is needed as the villa is quite a distance from the shops and the beach but this wouldn't put us off booking again and we're already looking at dates for next year 😁

Wunderschöne Tage in Kreta mit der Familie

Pro: Sehr netter Kontakt vor Ort per WhattsApp, wunderschöne Villa, schöner sauberer Pool, sehr gut gelegen neben schönem Dorf mit guten Tavernen und zentral in Kreta, wunderschöne Aussicht, viel grüne Pflanzen auf dem Grundstück, nette Nachbarn Contra: harte und enge Betten, lauter Sicherungskasten (stört nachts), 2 Türen schließen nicht richtig, modriger Geruch in den Küchenschränken, Küchenzubehör und Küchenherd alt. Die schlechteste Erfahrung haben wir mit Agni Travel gemacht. Sie forderten von uns, eine zusätzliche Versicherung abzuschließen versteckt in einem Online-Checkin. Wir haben das auf Anraten von Fewo nicht gemacht. Auf mehrere Mails von uns kamen nur stereotype Antworten und dann die Forderung einer ebenfalls nicht gerechtfertigten Kaution. Dieses Verhalten ist absolut unseriös. Wir würden nie wieder ein Objekt von Agni Travel buchen.

Being history teachers it was a sublime experience to visit the medieval villages,the bay of Rethymnon, the Military Museum and the two watchtowers. The cobbled streets and the withwashed houses made us feel as if we travelled back in time. We also rented a car and visited neighboring villages. The villa owner was very helpful and made us feel like family.

From the balcony we had such a beautiful sea view. We took our time to enjoy it for it was there for free. the sea breeze felt so great. Fantastic villa, with the different colors that is used to spice up the house. The many flowers in the garden, the greenery around it, have unleashed a certain sentiment in me. It seemed like wanted to stay there forever.

We loved the villa and its location. Superb sea views, very quiet and lovely restaurants within walking distance. Ive never stayed in a villa which is cleaned, sheets and towels changed several times in a week. Amazing care and attention from the cleaning ladies. We will definitely use Agni Travel again

Our holiday was perfect! This villa was exactly as in the pictures on the website. My husband and I have rented villas several times before in Europe and the US, this was the first time using Agni Travel but most definitely not the last 😊
