Located on the southern side of Burnham Market, tucked quietly away from the village hustle and bustle, yet only a short walk away from all that this beautiful village has to offer. The Albans is an attractive detached property that sits in a small, exclusive development of quality, modern brick and flint town houses enjoying a traditional curbside appeal.
Built in 2023 by a highly regarded local developer, this is a beautifully finished and furnished contemporary detached house decorated throughout in calming neutral tones. Entering The Albans via an elegant oak-framed porch, you will find the ground floor living and entertaining space is open-plan, L-shaped, light and bright. A well equipped bespoke fitted kitchen sits to the front of the house, then opens up to a generous living area with a lantern ceiling, enhancing the feeling of light and space across the room. There's even a piano here. Full width bi-folding doors extend the room further into a fully enclosed landscaped garden, allowing warmth and sunshine to combine indoor/outdoor living when the weather permits. A cloakroom / utility room with laundry facilities is conveniently located off the entrance hall. The ground floor, with Italian porcelain tiling throughout, is fitted with luxurious underfloor heating.
Upstairs, when the day is done, sleepy heads have a treat with two beautifully presented, comfortable bedrooms to choose from - a king-size master bedroom with an en-suite shower room, and a double bedded room with use of the family bathroom. There's a small snug on this level as well, providing a quieter space to sit and read or perhaps work, when needs must. Carpets and thermostatically controlled radiators provide warmth on this floor.
Outside, to the rear of the house, is a fully enclosed courtyard garden with sofa seating set around a dining table, and a water feature. Enjoying a peaceful, sunny south facing aspect it is a lovely option for both relaxing and savouring a sundowner of a tasty local tipple while supper is in the oven.
With all the twos - bedrooms, bathrooms and dogs allowed, The Albans ticks all the boxes all the year round. There is so much locally to see and do, and beautiful beaches to explore at your leisure, just make sure you book for long enough!
