MEADOW ISLAND CARAVAN, pet friendly, with a garden in Penygroes
Meadow Island Caravan in Carmel, Gwynedd, sleeps five people in three bedrooms. Please note: There will be a freezer and a washing machine available from spring.
Meadow Island Caravan, a single-storey caravan, consists of a kitchen with oven, fridge, microwave, kettle, and toaster, a dining area with seating for five guests, a sitting room with Smart TV and electric fire. The bedrooms consist of two doubles and a twin, serviced by a bathroom with a small bath, shower over, basin, and heated towel rail and a cloakroom with basin and WC. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are included in the rent. Outside, there is an enclosed garden with a patio, a designated parking place for 1 car and additional off-road parking. Two well-behaved pets are allowed; no smoking. here is a stream either side of the caravan, accessed by a wooden bridge, please do take care with children. Note: There are steps up to the caravan.
Note: One of the double beds is suitable for one guest due to access from one side. Note; there is a workshop on site but this will not be in use when there are guests staying so please be reassured there will be no noise from this.
Amenities: Electric heating. Oven, hob, microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster and slow cooker. Smart TV, WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Parking is available close by to the caravan. Enclosed garden with patio. Two well-behaved pets allowed. There is a stream either side of the caravan, accessed by a wooden bridge, please do take care with children. Guests are welcome to take a patio chair down to the stream to sit and listen to the water. There are also cows and sheep around, plus buzzards, herons and a fox. Hiking, walking guests are welcome. Region: Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.
Town: The lovely quiet village of Penygroes is situated around six miles from the historic castle town of Caernarfon, bordering the Snowdonia National Park with beautiful scenic walks and mountain views easily accessible. A good selection of shops, cafes and pubs are available in the village and the wider local area is full of restaurants and activities such as golfing, swimming, tennis, surfing and horse riding to name but a few. Plas Dinas Country House is also nearby, which is home to some great history as well as The Gun Room restaurant. The beaches on Anglesey and the Llyn Peninsula can be reached in about half an hour, while the beach at Dinas Dinlle is just a 10-minute drive away. Nearby, Caernarfon is home to Caernarfon Castle, which is well worth a visit, with further shops and cafes available, as well as steam train trips. Portmeirion is also a short distance away, featured in the TV series ‘The Prisoner’. Just 8 miles away is the Welsh Heritage centre which has a licensed cafe at Nant Nwrtheyrn with magnificent sea views from it's decked dining area. Beddgelert is a very attractive village, surrounded by the beautiful Snowdonia National Park, with a fabulous arts and craft shop, and several pubs. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.
