The Space:

The Granary



Enter through the beautifully landscaped garden into the striking entrance of The Granary, where double-height, floor-to-ceiling glazing floods the interior with natural light. The welcoming hallway, complete with practical boot and coat storage (just down the stairs), leads seamlessly into the heart of the home, a vast, open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area designed for culinary experiences and entertaining.



Designed with both beauty and purpose in mind, the kitchen is effortlessly refined. A serene palette of earthy greens and natural wood finishes is elevated by a striking contemporary glass structure that frames uninterrupted garden views. Every detail has been carefully considered, from statement pieces to premium appliances, creating a space as functional as it is elegant.



Original beams crown the living and dining area, where ambient lighting and curated artwork provide warmth and texture. A restored open fireplace anchors the space, inviting cosy evenings by the fire. Just beyond, a few steps lead down to a snug, a sumptuous, cocoon-like hideaway perfect for quiet reading or film nights, layered in soft textiles and steeped in historic charm.



A discreet utility room and guest WC are tucked just off the entrance, blending convenience with thoughtful design.



Upstairs, the exposed brickwork staircase with bold black and timber detailing leads to the first floor, home to two beautifully appointed king-sized bedrooms. Complete with its own en-suite bathroom, the annex is an ideal option for grandparents, teens, or friends seeking a little solitude within the setting of a shared stay.

While you can book The Talbot and The Granary together for larger groups, the homes individually do not have enough dining space to seat all 18 guests at once.



To help ensure a smooth and seamless stay, all guests are required to complete a mandatory pre-arrival digital check-in form prior to arrival.



This form includes providing personal details such as your full name, contact information, and date of birth, along with uploading a valid ID and a selfie for verification purposes.



Completing this in advance allows us to prepare for your arrival and helps avoid any delays at check-in. Please note that failure to complete the form before arrival may result in delays in accessing the property.



The garden is fully enclosed, but guests are still responsible for supervising their pets at all times.
