Gorgeous cabin, very rustic and beautifully decorated. Efficient heating system, stunning fireplace, amazing views off the back porch. Hot tub was a great bonus, over all the property is very well maintained and amazing stay. Kitchen with many amenities including cooking utensils, spices and seasonings, pots and pans. We had a great stay, would love to stay again!
This is the perfect little cabin for a peaceful, secluded getaway. The French Broad River rushes just below the cabin. The hot tub is clean, well maintained and has an amazing view. The cabin is quaint but perfectly appointed and very clean with every cooking utensil needed in the kitchen. The hammock was an added, unexpected bonus! We couldnât have asked for a better experience and canât wait to come back!
This is a very special place, tucked on a hillside in a scenic wooded areaâvery private but also very close to the charming town of Weaverville. The cabin is full of clever decorations that perfectly fit the rustic vibe. The beds were so comfortable, I wanted to take the mattress home with me. The living area is cozy, & though the kitchen is small, youâll find a good supply of everything you need. There are lots of towels & good hot water. Thereâs a large fridge in the laundry room & a small one in the house. Lots of towels & amenities like the fireplace & TV. Good WiFi. The hot tub is worth a visit in itself, with an incredible view from a large deck next to the cabin. We love thatâs itâs dog friendly, & our two pups had at least as much fun as we did. The drive up from the main road is a bit rugged & steep, so pay attention to the host Juneâs advice on vehicles. June was greatâvery responsiveâ& obviously has put a lot of love & care into this place. We highly recommend this gem! And donât miss Well Bred & Stoney Knob Cafe in Weaverville, both excellent.
We decided to go on our family vacation in the mtns this year instead of the beach. The cabin was beautiful. Just as expected. We had a great trip and hope to be back.
I stayed at this cabin with my two teens while visiting family near by. The cabin was about ten minutes from family and just what we needed. It has all the amenities, hot tub and washer and dryer were a plus! It is peaceful and serene and off the beaten path, yet within a 30 min. drive to downtown Asheville or the Biltmore.
We really enjoyed our visit to this unique, rustic cabin in the wooded area of Alexander, NC near Asheville. You can hear the French Broad river rushing over rocks while sitting on the front porch. The cabin had all the amenities needed for our stay. A very relaxing setting and beautifully surrounded by nature.
Beautiful property with a rustic and comfy-cozy cabin that is perfect for a long weekend get-away. the driveway is a bit rugged (especially after rain) so take seriously the requirement for an AWD/4WD car.
Beautiful space! Such a cozy cabin, absolutely perfect for a few days. The property is very secluded and peaceful, but only 15 minutes from downtown AVL. Hot tub was dope. June is a wonderful human, very communicative, and gave us great recommendations. Would 100% stay here again!
The cabin was very secluded and overall very cozy...the weather was rainy and only got to use the hot tub a few times and the deck was wet and we were not able to set items on the deck(such as towels etc.) the decor fit for this cabin and the bed was very comfortable...my only complaint was the tub/shower not very accommodating as it was a claw foot table and very hard to get in and out of (the bathroom needs updating). But overall not too shabby and enjoyed our stay!
We wanted to slow down and enjoy some time away from everything but be close enough to get to sites. This was perfect. Very close to Asheville but also close to small towns with great shops.
We enjoyed the hot tub, views, quiet evenings and of course, the 497 piece puzzle. Took us a while but it was fun.
Enjoying our meals on the porch was so peaceful.
We felt like we were worlds away at this place. No people, no noise, no nothing. It was perfect.
It was exactly as advertised. Great place to make family memories.
The cabin was an authentic log cabin experience- quaint and cozy. It was situated above a beautiful river that you could hear. The wood burning fireplace was a treat! It was a short 15-20 minute drive to downtown Asheville and the Biltmore. June was very pleasant and easy to work with. Loved our stay!
