Escape to nature at our charming 4-bedroom holiday home. Nestled within a peaceful nature reserve, Bittern Lodge benefits from views over Swillbrook Lake.
Perfect for families, friends, or couples seeking a relaxing getaway, the property offers spacious comfort, breath-taking views, and a true sense of tranquillity.
Bittern Lodge is one of our most popular house designs accommodating eight guests with the added benefit of taking full advantage of its southerly facing aspect across the adjoining Nature Lake.
Access information will be sent out the week before arrival. This information will include the access codes for the main gate to Silverlake Estate and for the key safe to the property.
Enjoy an unforgettable Cotswolds holiday at Lower Mill Estate. Thereâs lots to discover here, including the nature reserve, swimming pools, lakeside trails, spa, restaurant and numerous activities. The Cotswold Water Park and Cotswolds AONB are also on your doorstep.
Lower Mill Estate is perfect for a Cotswold break year-round, whether youâre looking to enjoy the summer or get together with loved ones over Christmas.
Estate Rules:
1. Quiet hours are observed after 11pm, we aim to maintain a peaceful and respectful environment for all residents and guests.
2. Hen and stag parties, including any related activities, are not allowed on the estate premises
3. Work related stays for any purpose are not permitted on the estate
House Rules
1. All our properties are non-smoking.
2. Upon departure, kindly ensure that the premises are left in a clean and orderly manner, with all furniture returned to its original position and rubbish removed. There are bin stores located around the estate.
3. Please utilise the parking spaces provided at the property. Additional parking is available at the main car park if needed. Please do not park in the bays assigned to other properties.

Ground Floor
There are three bedrooms to the ground floor. There are two twin bedrooms separated by a shared Jack & Jill bathroom.
There is a further ground floor king bedroom and family shower room with a double walk in shower.
Completing the ground floor is a utility cupboard housing separate washing machine & dryer.
First Floor
Here you will find the open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area.
The kitchen has a good range of contemporary gloss units to include a tall fridge, separate 3 drawer freezer, wine fridge, double oven, Nespresso machine, induction hob inset into the island. Fully equipped to accommodate 8 guests.
Off the Kitchen is a snug, kitted out with a smart TV, Blu-ray DVD player and DVDs a plenty, making it the perfect den for kids.
The kitchen opens out onto the front balcony, where an outdoor and sheltered overhead dining area expands your living space and allows you to make the most of the long summer days and eat your meals outside. A gas BBQ is located on this decking.
Also on the first floor you will find the main lounge area, completed with a smart TV and a log burner. It is a light & airy room with a vaulted ceiling and benefits from fully glazed rear elevations providing stunning views over the Swillbrook Lake.
Second Floor
A mezzanine area with table football leads to the master king bedroom which has an open plan shower room with twin vanity units and double shower. There is also a separate WC.
