Bowling Terrace by Above Rubies is a recently renovated, stylish 3âbed homeâfromâhome on a quiet, gated street overlooking a bowling green. Dog friendly: up to 2 dogs on request (pet fees apply). Sleeps 5. Short walk to canal, station and awardâwinning high street. The house is 0.3 miles from Skipton Train Station and a short walk from the Leeds and Liverpool Canal - boasting beautiful scenic walks along the canal into Skipton in one direction and Gargrave and beyond in the opposite direction.
Skipton Castle, The Yorkshire Dales, Bolton Abbey, Embsay Steam Railway, Malham, Worth Valley Railway, The 3 Peaks and many other local attractions are all within easy travelling distance - the location really is outstanding for convenience.
Guests have full private use of the house, as well as the front garden and back yard outside areas during their stay.
This stylish 3 bed homeâfromâhome has been recently renovated to a high standard, making it a comfortable base for exploring Skipton and the Yorkshire Dales. Set on a quiet gated culâdeâsac overlooking the bowling green, it offers a peaceful setting just a short walk from the canal and the town centre with its award winning High Street filled with shops, cafes, pubs, bars and restaurants.
The house is dogâfriendly. Up to 2 dogs are welcome on request, with an additional pet fee per pet.
To the rear there is a driveway with parking for one small car, plus free onâstreet parking on Bowling View. At the front youâll find a sunny garden/patio with outdoor furniture, perfect for relaxing or eating and drinking al fresco while enjoying the view of the green.
Inside, the large, light living room has a bay window, original wooden floorboards and a cosy fireplace. Two threeâseater sofas provide plenty of seating for everyone to unwind in front of the 50" smart TV with Netflix and Virgin TV included. There is also an Alexa speaker for your use.
The fully equipped kitchen/diner includes an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, washing machine, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, pots, pans, utensils and a Nespresso coffee machine with a selection of pods, so you have everything you need whether youâre cooking simple meals or something more special.
Upstairs there is a beautiful kingâsize bedroom with dressing table/desk, a twin bedroom with two single beds, and a third bedroom with one single bed. All beds have good quality mattresses for a comfortable nightâs sleep, and each room has stylish, contemporary storage for your clothes. A travel cot can be provided on request.
The modern bathroom features a contemporary walkâin rain shower and vanity unit, with body wash, shampoo and conditioner provided.
There is a driveway suitable for 1 small car at the back of the house and free on street parking can also be found on Bowling View, which runs adjacent to Bowing Terrace.
If you prefer not to drive, thereâs a bus stop around 2 minutesâ walk away and Skipton train station is about 10 minutesâ walk, giving you flexible travel options both locally and further afield.
Bowling Terrace is situated on a private, quiet, gated street, so we ask all guests to respect quiet hours after 10pm.
2 small to medium size dogs are allowed. However, please note that this must be requested and agreed prior to your stay and will incur additional pet fees.
Early check-in and late chek-out are available upon request and are subject to an additional fee.
No smoking is allowed anywhere inside the apartment and if you choose to smoke outside on the patio please be sure to dispose of your cigarette ends respectfully. Thank you.
STRICTLY no parties, events, loud noises or additional guests other than those listed in the original booking. We have a zero tolerance policy and you will be asked to leave and will forfeit the rest of your stay if any of the above is breached.
