15 Barnaloft is a spacious and welcoming beachside apartment set directly above the golden sands of Porthmeor Beach in the heart of St Ives. With uninterrupted sea views, a generous private balcony, and a versatile gallery bedroom, this stylish second-floor retreat is perfect for families or couples looking to unwind by the coast while being just moments from the townâs vibrant galleries, shops, and restaurants.
Inside, the apartment is bright and airy, with calming neutral tones and a layout designed for relaxed seaside living. The open-plan living, kitchen, and dining area is a sociable space with large picture windows and sliding doors that draw the sea and sky right into the room. Whether you're gathered around the dining table or lounging by the window with a book, the ever-changing views of Porthmeor provide a stunning natural backdrop to your stay.
The kitchen, tucked neatly at the rear, is well-equipped with a gas hob, electric oven, microwave and fridge â everything you need to enjoy simple meals at home. The main bathroom is located on this floor too, featuring a shower over the bath, ideal for rinsing off sandy toes after a day on the beach.
A set of open-tread stairs leads up to the spacious mezzanine-style bedroom, which overlooks the living area and has been cleverly designed to accommodate families. The king-size bed can be sectioned off from the two single beds via folding doors, allowing for privacy or a more open-plan feel depending on your needs. The entire apartment is warmed by underfloor heating, creating a cosy atmosphere even on cooler evenings.
Step out through the living room doors onto the private balcony, where you can soak in the salty air, listen to the waves, and enjoy leisurely breakfasts or sunset drinks with an uninterrupted view of the Atlantic. In the summer months, guests can also make use of private access to the beach below â a rare and special feature of the Barnaloft apartments.
