A Wonderful Getaway

Facility was clean. Only downer was the indoor pool was closed for refurbishing, but it has to be done sometime!

Kid friendly

Reviewer Comments: I thought it was tasteful, comfortable, convenient and we'll equipped.The walk to the. Each was gentle but longer than I expected. Mosquitoes were terrible. I was just a tiny bit disappointed in the Clint’s since we had to check in very late and check out very early allegedly because of the Covid virus. The The condo was not what I was expecting as far as cleanliness since it was so much time taken away for us in order for it to be cleaned. The back porch really needed much attention. It was dirty and covered in spiderwebs and mini mini mosquitoes. It was also a smoke free Condo Ian’s campus but the linens or something inside the condo smelled of smoke. I’m not sure why if there is some sort of a draft from the breezeway or yard and it gets into the condo or if the linens are done off site where there are smokers. It was very faint. We loved the little sleeper sofa in the laundry area it was overall a wonderful experience.

Reviewer Comments: the view was great. we paid a higher price to stay where we good see the ocean. the condo itself, was nice,but needs some work and a deep clean. doors going into the building need to be situated as to where they stay open while hauling in luggage, groceries, etc. pool by beach was nice.

Very cozy apartment just a few steps from the beach

We love this place!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I really don't want to give it a good review, because it might get crowded! But we love it here. This year was our third summer staying at Martinique, and our second summer in 105E. Everything was perfect as always. We brought friends this year who stayed next door in 106E, which was also great. Their air conditioner was broken when they arrived. They arrived late, so didn't notice until ~ 9 PM on Sunday night. They notified the front desk, and someone was out to repair it in less than 1 hour! They even followed up with a phone call the next morning to be sure all was well. Spectacular service.

Best Kept Secret on the Gulf

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our vacation rental was by far our very favorite place we’ve ever stayed in Gulf Shores. Our family has been coming to the area for 7 years now and we will never stay anywhere but Martinique from now on! The unit was lovely, very clean and spacious enough for a family of 4. We particularly loved the fact that the beach felt secluded and not crowded since it is next to the Bon Secour Wildlife Refuge. We will definitely return to this beautiful beach community in the years to come!

overall nice, but need some technology/appliance fixes

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The view from the condo is beautiful! And its location on property is great! The Martinique property as a whole is kind of far, but with that you get privacy. We ran into a few issues in this condo with appliances: we had to contact the management company to come fix the On button of the dryer; it took me 3-4 times washing one load of dishes to get the soap dispenser in the dish washer to work properly (including having to stick my fingers in some gunk at the bottom to clear something out. Made me wonder just how clear our dishes were to begin with), a DVD was stuck on the master bedroom DVD player. I managed to get it out by unplugging the player from the wall. The TV was stuck on CNN and the remote wouldn't work to change it. My husband had to buy a universal remote, program it to that TV for us to use that TV. There were no batteries in a few of the TV remotes so we also had to furnish those (we took all these with us when we left). Lastly, the can opener malfunctions (which was not so awesome on Thanksgiving). Those kind of issues shouldn't happen for the price you pay to stay here. If they can get those issues fixed, we would stay in this condo again. The furniture was comfortable and cozy. One thing I advise though is typing up the WiFi information and placing it in a more visual spot for when people arrive. We had to hunt for it.

Summer memories 2017

We love the space in the condos. They are like staying in a home. But although the boardwalk to the beach is pretty the walk is very long and hot!! With a little one to contend with it's not an easy walk to the beach or pool. The ocean was a dirty brown during our stay and we were disappointed...not sure if Cindy the tropical storm was the cause of this or what. We have stayed many times in Fort Morgan and have never seen the water like this. We would stay here again but maybe during cooler weather or when we do not have little ones.
