About the bugs, Huatulco is a tropical place, the ecosistem here is the jungle, this place is the home of thousands of animals, plants and insects. the diversity and the huge amount of beings living here is the beuty of this place and what makes it so alive. We know is anoying to deal with some animals, thats why we fumigate all our properties at least twice a mont, but even like that, is almost imposible to stop all this insects, and to be honest, we are the ones invading their space. I know in north america or europe is very rare to have insects around, but here is our daily basis, so the best we can do is clean our properties tiwce a week, fumigate tice a month and try to not leave food or anything outside of the fridge so the insects cant go inside. Thank you so much to be so consider with the property and not use Raid, that was very kind of you. It was very nice to have you here! We loved to host you and we hope to see you again soon,. Hi Gina, Thank you for your 5 star review. We are so sorry to hear about your missing ring; we didn´t know anything about this and regret that you did not contact us for our assistance before you left! Though we never like to hear about a guest missing an item, it is one of the benefits of booking a stay through an agency like ours to have us take action on your behalf and assist with any language barriers that may exist. The only people who had keys were yourselves as our guests and one dedicated person within our company in case of emergencies. This was the person you were in touch with several times throughout your stay. I trust that the 5 Stars you gave our team and the personalized email/thank that you sent is a reflection of the fact that you do not think our company was involved. You had your mid-stay cleaning on Tuesday March 15 and the cleaning person has worked with us for the last 10 years; she is a person of total trust in the company. We are thinking that the ring may have fallen somewhere without you realizing it and hope you find it in your luggage! It has happened on a few occasions where an item has temporarily gone missing and when notified we have been able to coordinate assistance (example: having a plumber scope the pipes etc.). As you saw on the day of your check out, we managed to tell you that you had forgotten clothes but you commented to us that you left them behind on purpose for whoever could benefit from them (thank you!). We always check the property to verify that guests don’t forget things of value. On March 3rd (before this review) the cleaning girl reported an earring; we notified you and you said it was not yours. Upon receiving this review we again checked every corner of the property but unfortunately we did not find your ring. We are very sorry for the incident but rest assured that if we are to locate it we would let you know immediately! We hope to see you again soon! My Huatulco Vacation Team.
