First, the staff is very professional and respond quickly to inquiries and potential problems. Check in is very easy with instructions sent via email prior to your arrival. This apartment is awesome and in a great location that is central to everything. There are marts for easy shopping. There are loads of restaurants. The one thing that was surprising were the many stairs leading to the apartment. Once you climb to the front door of the flat, you then must climb additional stairs inside of the apartment. Be prepared.
Fully stocked apartment right in the middle of everything! The restaurants and shops near by are great, the apartment itself is lovely - great light, great amenities. It was perfect for 3 couples to stay while exploring Edinburgh
A wonderful place to stay in Edinburgh! Within walking distance of everything you go to Edinburgh to see and do. Short walk to the train station, the Royal Mile, etc. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay or a better location.
Beautiful apartment in an absolutely perfect location. We appreciated having an en suite bathroom for every bedroom, as well as gorgeous views of Edinburgh Castle.
Nice location, nice kitchen/living space, way too many stairs that werenât mentioned in description, too many low ceilings on which you whack your head , scary hallway that is quite dirty and dark
Visited Edinburgh with 3 couples. Lovely, very well appointed flat. Each room with private bath. Perfect location to explore the city. Would book again without hesitation!
David and his staff were attentive to meet all our needs in the beautiful apartment. There was a glitch with the check in process upon arrival and they worked it out to make sure all was taken care of for us. We highly recommend this property!
I canât say enough good things about our stay. It was a long trip through the UK ending with a 2 day stay in Edinburgh. I wish we had stayed longer! The apartment is perfect. Beautiful and clean and well stocked with everything youâd need. The location was right in the heart of it all. Lots of restaurants and bars and amazing views! Completely safe area. Walk to the train. Walk to the Royal mile. Itâs all right there.
The location, generous room sizes and updated decor and amenities made our stay in this property more than we could have hoped for! We were right in the heart of the city and able to walk anywhere. Great sites to visit, wonderful restaurants and shopping all just feet way. The managers were very responsive. Newly renovated, the property was fashionable and comfortable.
This was a wonderful rental for our group. The unit was furnished with everything you needed, even robes and slippers! The location couldn't have been more convenient. A short walk to the castle as well as close to a great choice of restaurants and shopping. There were several flights of stairs to carry suitcases up, so if this is a problem I would recommend you take advantage of the service they offer to carry them up. Beautifully furnished, would definitely rent there again.
Top notch in amenities, comfort and service.
Had a challenge finding the place and getting in- David was very patient with me. But once we were in.... wow.
It is in the heart of the city so the views are amazing, but it was pretty rowdy on weekend nights. On the other hand, loved hearing the bagpipes after 10 am in the morning everyday and having easy access to most of the city.
Everything was top notch- to the welcome gifts on the table to the extra large bath towels. Thoughtful touches throughout.
Would love to stay here again- just not with 6 suitcases to lug up to the top!
Stayed here in Sept 2022 with my wife, parents, brother and his partner and we had a fantastic experience. Check-in was very easy as we just used a code to get in the building and then into the flat. It is on the third (fourth for Americans) floor with no lift, but that wasnât a problem for us. Communication with property manager was also very easy and professional. The views from the two of the three bedrooms which overlook Hanover street are to die for, as they look straight up the hill at the Castle.
Location could not be better. Minutes from Waverly station, tons of shops and dining, and just a few minutes across the gorge from old town. We actually liked the new town location better anyway as it was much less touristy. Easy walking to Dean Village and other attractions.
The newly renovated apartment is stunning inside. High quality finishes everywhere. The beds and linens were very comfortable and the bathrooms were remarkable, five-star quality. Each bedroom has its own en suite, which is exceptionally rare. Kitchen is well-appointed with coffee, tea, dishes, etc. Dining table is large and comfortable for six or more.
If I have one piece of constructive feedback, it is that the living room sofas could be much better. Wasnât a big deal for us since we didnât spend a ton of time inside anyway, but would be nice to have a big comfy sectional or two large upholstered sofas to lounge on late at night. These were more like dormitory futons. Also (and this is just personal preference), the living room could benefit from a floor lamp or two to make the space even cozier. Again just suggestions and this place is still 5 out of 5.
Altogether this is probably the best family-size accommodation I have ever stayed at and we would not hesitate for a second to book again.
