This contemporary, first-floor apartment sleeping four guests is perfectly located for a lovely holiday on the glorious North Cornwall coast. Set in the pretty village of Crantock, with its historic pub, it is a 500-metre stroll down to the vast expanse of sand, backed by rolling dunes. The family-friendly beach is a popular spot for swimming and surfing, with lifeguards in the season, a surf school and watersports kit for hire. Youâll find a wealth of peaceful country walks and magnificent coastal views along the South West Coast Path. Newquay (3.5 miles) is renowned for its surfing beaches and also home to the Blue Reef Aquarium, where you can view close-ups of exotic and Cornish marine life. Other local attractions include the delightful vintage Lappa Valley Steam Railway and the National Trustâs Trerice, a small, beautifully preserved Elizabethan house set in a charming garden (both 4.5 miles).
A shared hallway leads to the entrance to your holiday home, one of a small block of similar properties. Inside, discover an airy open-plan living space, flooded with coastal light from a wall of floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors. Opening onto a balcony terrace, they offer breathtaking views across Crantock to the sea. The interior of this seaside retreat is beautifully furnished and fitted in contemporary style with subtle shades of grey and white. A sofa and easy chair provide comfortable seating as you drink in the ocean vista, as does the striking dining area, with tub chairs set around the feature glass table. The streamlined kitchen slots neatly into place. There are two inviting bedrooms: a king-size with a rainfall shower and a twin which can be made up as a super-king-size on request. A sleek family bathroom completes the layout.
Outside, the large balcony terrace with outdoor dining furniture is the perfect spot for absorbing the glorious view. Extensive, shared gardens below the apartments offer another peaceful retreat, with outdoor seats and tables. There is private parking for one car.
