An inviting, Cornish apartment, set in a fabulous position beside Little Petherick Creek, this holiday home near St Issey is suitable for small families and couples. Sleeping four guests, the two-bedroom bolthole nestles in tranquil surroundings, 3 miles from vibrant Padstow, with its many independent shops and renowned eateries, and 5 miles from Wadebridge. The area has some gorgeous beaches, with Trevone Bay 3 miles, Harlyn Bay and Treyarnon Bay all within 6 miles. Further along the coast you can visit the beautiful fishing village of Port Isaac (13 miles) and the popular seaside resort of Newquay (15 miles). One of four self-contained hideaways created within a formed grain barn, it comes with a balcony where you can enjoy the fresh air. Plan days out to St Georgeâs Cove, 3.5 miles away, to swim or picnic on the sand. Try your hand at surfing too at the bay beaches of Harlyn or Treyarnon, both 5.5 miles away. Hire bicycles in Padstow and head out along a section of the mainly traffic-free Camel Trail, which runs for 18 miles to Wentfordbridge, passing Wadebridge and Bodmin along the way. Keen walkers can also follow this route.
Climb the external staircase to let yourselves into your welcoming first floor apartment. Slip your walking boots or beach shoes off in the hall and head through to the kitchen to put the kettle on. This well-designed space includes everything you will need to help you cater for your party during your stay. Carry your steaming mugs and the fresh Cornish pasties you have bought in Padstow through to the lounge/diner. Here you can pull chairs up to the table to enjoy your lunch and chat about your exciting morning. Afterwards, sink back into the soft seating to gaze out over the creek and watch for wildlife. There is also a Smart TV in here for your enjoyment. When you are ready to turn in for the night, make your way through to one of the comfortable bedrooms, with views over the creek. These include a king-size and a twin with the flexibility of also being able to be arranged a second super-king if discussed at booking. The stylish, modern family bathroom includes both a bath and a shower to give you the choice.
Sit out on your private balcony to savour the serenity, enjoy a morning coffee out here on fine, sunny days. Guests also have access to a shared garden with outdoor kitchen and seating. There is private parking for one car at the apartment.
