This was our first trip back to both since 2011, and we were long-overdue for a beach trip. Aqua was just as nice as we remembered. The condo itself was well-maintained and very tastefully decorated. Having the little things in working order, like elevators and door combinations, make the trip headache-free. We never had an issue with either one. Luggage carts were conveniently located and plentiful. And there was one surprise that we absolutely loved - the craft icemaker in the freezer. How cool was that! If you love a good bourbon, you'll be excited about the giant balls of ice in the freezer. We also took advantage of the standard icemaker. In short, we had a ball (not just the ice!), and we will be back.

Only major irritation was the elevators. At least one out of commission every day. When there are that many people, you wait a while!!

The condition of the condo (0806) was disappointing.

This was our 3rd stay in a condo at Aqua. The first stay was beyond amazing and the 2nd one was ok. This condo was such a let down. For starters we walked in and it didn't even look, smell or feel like it had been cleaned. The bed in the master bedroom had no bedspread, comforter or anything on it besides a sheet and a little coverlet type thing the weight of a sheet. The bedspread and matching pillows as shown in the ad for the unit were crammed on the shelves of the closet in the bathroom leaving barely any room to put anything from clothes to shoes, etc. The bathtub was gritty with sand. The furniture is very old, scratched and 2 of the drawers on the dresser are missing handles. The bedroom and living/dining area are carpeted with obviously old carpet with many dark stains. "Decorations" on the bar were so gross with dust it was disgusting. The metal wastebasket in the master bath looks like it has dried vomit, bowel movement or possibly rust on it. The light fixtures had bulbs that did not match - some are LED, others are not. Two fixtures on the walls either had no bulbs or they were burned out. The first night the bulb in one of the bedside lamps burned out. The blender was filthy - so bad we wouldn't even wash it to use it. The furniture was all very outdated and old fabric that just felt dirty. The patio furniture was old, very worn, paint chipped off of everything to the point we could not enjoy sitting out there. The floor out there was filthy. I had my iPad plugged into the ONE outlet that worked on my side of the bed and reached to unplug it and my charger which is almost new and has worked perfect was melted and almost on fire. I burned 2 fingers badly when I reached to unplug it. That outlet is apparently dangerous. We then tried plugging things into a kitchen outlet and they immediately got very hot. There seems to be electrical issues in this unit. We tried using the phone on the wall to call for help and it would not work. I have pictures to back up and support everything I am saying in my review. We have used VRBO a number of times over the years and love it. We absolutely love Aqua and will be back but sadly will never stay in 0806 again.

Rental is showing some wear and tear and needs a little facelift but was well appointed and the bed was extra comfy. Appreciate the fan, found in closet. Would recommend more blankets for bed. There was only a sheet and small coverlet - maybe a down comforter for chillier days and nights? There was a small blanket in the closet but way smaller than the kind sized bed. All in all another restful stay at Aqua.

There were a couple of incidental issues but we worked around them. The washing machine dispenser drawer was broken but we were able to throw our pods in and do laundry anyway. The beach staff was amazing and so accommodating, we were very thankful for their help.The condo was a perfect fit for our group and we will most likely book in the future. Close to lots of fun, kid friendly activities!

Reviewer Comments: We love Aqua in Panama City and the staff is excellent!!!We stayed in Unit 806 in Feb and it was great, but when we stayed in Unit 806 in June we were very disappointed. The deck was filthy dirty with chalk writing on the floor and walls. The porch furniture paint flaked off on your arms and the few cushions were filthy. Inside a lamp was broken when we arrived and the foldout couch bed frame was bent and didn’t retract. There were long lines at the elevators where several were not in operation. We will think twice about going back.
