Inchlonaig House is a beautifully decorated contemporary holiday cottage located in the picturesque coastal village of Port William, South West Scotland.
Ideal for families and large groups, the spacious 4/5 bedroom (One bunk bed room is interconnected with the main bedroom) detached self catering holiday cottage is set in the beautiful countryside of Dumfries and Galloway, and sleeps up to 8 adults and 2 children in perfect luxury.
Inchlonaig House provides the perfect location for a relaxing self catering holiday in one of the most peaceful and tranquil areas in Scotland or an excellent base from which to explore South West Scotland.

Weekend stay

Lovely, spacious house. Well equipped, beds are very comfy and there's a secure back garden for dogs. Great location with village and beach a shirt walk. Great place.

Lovely week at Inchlonaig House

Inchlonaig House proved a great base for a week in Galloway. Spacious and comfortable, the house was well equipped and in a good position with views of the sea. Sarah’s pre-arrival instructions were comprehensive and helpful and we didn’t need to contact her during our stay. Sunny weather for most of the week made for a most enjoyable holiday!

Another Fabulous Stay!

This was our second time staying at Inchlonaig House. We are a 3 generational family party and we enjoyed everything about our stay. Inchlonaig is a very clean, comfortable, spacious, warm and well equipped house. We would thoroughly recommend staying here and using it as a base to explore Galloway. Wonderful home from home in Port William. Inchlonaig house had everything we needed for our stay, the property is immaculate and all of the bedrooms were so comfy - we all had a great nights sleep. We stayed as a family group looking for a relaxing weekend to celebrate a big birthday. Port William is a lovely wee town, there isn't much there but it does have a cafe/bar and a spar shop for the essentials. The house has beach access right across the road, which was perfect for walking our two dogs and for watching a beautiful sunset.We also had Sunday lunch at the local golf club, which I would highly recommend- it was very good! Sarah was a brilliant host, very friendly and helpful. Her welcome gift of wine and shortbread was so thoughtful and much appreciated. Thank you Sarah, for a lovely weekend at Inchlonaig House.

Family holiday

We had a lovely family holiday and were really impressed with the standard of the property - definitely one of the best we've stayed in. It was very well equipped and very spacious. The wine and shortbread were a nice touch too.

Scottish retreat

Yet again an excellent family holiday, despite the gales. The house is large enough to accommodate the whole family comfortably. A lovely quiet location but within easy reach of activities for both children and adults. This was our third stay we hope to return. Many thanks Sarah.

Fabulous views

A very welcoming house, spotless and comfortable. Beautifully laid out for family living. With the beach a stones throw away the views really were breath taking. Not anything to do in the town itself but great base for exploring Dumfries and Galloway.

Our 2nd stay at Inchlonaig House.

A well maintained house in a lovely position on the outskirts of Portwilliam. Everything in the house was high quality and spotlessly clean. Sarah was very helpful and allowed our dogs to stay with us - they had a great time on the beach!

Another lovely stay at Inchlonaig House

This was our 4th stay at Inchlonaig House, the first being 10 years ago. The house is very well located for family that we have in the area and equally well positioned for visits to the Galloway Park and the Mull of Galloway. The house is spacious, clean and very comfortable and Sarah is a very helpful and responsive host. Highly recommended if you are looking to stay in this beautiful part of Scotland.

Much needed break!

We had a lovely, relaxing break at Inchlonaig. It’s a beautiful house in a quiet and relaxing location and fully equipped with all you need. A great base to explore Galloway. We had some lovely weather and the location of the house so near to the sea was just lovely. We would definitely stay here again should we visit this area in the future!

Highly Recommended

Large modern property with four good sized bedrooms. This property has everything you could possibly need and was spotless. The surrounding area has numerous beautiful beaches. The host was extremely accommodating and thoughtfull. Second stay here and we will be back. Dog is depressed now that home!!

Amazing stay.

Just returned from another lovely week at inchlonaig house. The house is very clean and comfortable and Sarah is always at the end of the phone if we needed anything. We really didn’t want to leave, it’s so quiet and peaceful, and most days we had the beach to ourselves. Our daughter had a the best time crabbing in the harbour and swimming in the sea. We enjoyed it so much we booked for next year already, can’t wait. Book now you won’t be disappointed.

October week review

Fantastic and spacious property. Very well equipped, lovely house in an ideal location to explore the Western half of Dumfries and Galloway. Beach seconds away. Walks on the doorstep and nearby. Will definitely be looking to return at some point in the near future

Perfect

We have just spent a week at Inchlonaig and can honestly say it is the best house we have stayed in. Everything was perfect. Sarah has thought of everything. You do have to travel to get to places to eat, however there is a Spar in Port William which provides the essentials. We absolutely loved every minute of our trip.

Fantastic house! Beautifully decorated for Christmas

Myself and my family stayed in this beautiful house over New Year and we all had a fantastic time. The house was beautifully decorated and felt so homely, even though it’s a big house it was still so cozy. The view was amazing and it’s so peaceful, we will definitely be back. The bottle of champagne and tin of biscuits left for us was a lovely touch and we certainly enjoyed both. We would recommend this house to anyone with no doubt they would have a wonderful time. We will be looking to book again soon and can’t wait to be back!
