Nestled between the breathtaking peaks of Goat Fell and the shimmering waters of Brodick Bay, this vibrant coastal village is the gateway to exploring everything Arran has to offer.. Ground Floor:
Living/dining room: Smart TV, Woodburner
Kitchen: Electric Oven, Electric Hob, Microwave, Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher, Coffee Machine, Washing Machine
Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed
Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet
First Floor:
Bedroom 2: Kingsize (5ft) Bed
Bedroom 3: Kingsize (5ft) Bed
Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Toilet. Air source heat pump central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial fuel for wood burner included, remainder available locally. Large back garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. Situated in Brodick, the largest village on the Isle of Arran, this spacious house offers an ideal base from which to explore the island.
On the ground floor, the house has open plan living/dining with a wood burner, a well-equipped kitchen and a double bedroom and family bathroom with shower above, while on the upper floor you will find two kingsize rooms with a shower room.
Only a short stroll from the village, Brodick itself boasts a variety of amenities, including independent shops, cafés, restaurants, and a well-stocked co-op supermarket. The village is home to the famous Brodick Castle, Gardens and Country Park, a must-visit attraction offering a fascinating glimpse into Scottish history, stunning woodland trails, and beautifully landscaped gardens. For families, the Arran Heritage Museum provides an engaging look at the island’s past. Outdoor enthusiasts will love the nearby Goat Fell, Arran’s highest peak. The well-marked trail leads to breathtaking panoramic views across the island and beyond to the mainland. If you prefer something less strenuous, enjoy a peaceful stroll along the beach or play a round of golf with spectacular sea views.
Just a short drive or bus journey away, Lamlash is another charming coastal village where you can enjoy fantastic seafood, take a boat trip to Holy Isle, or simply admire the stunning views across Lamlash Bay. Further south, Whiting Bay offers beautiful coastal walks, including the scenic trail to Glenashdale Falls. For whisky lovers, a visit to the Arran Distillery in Lochranza is a must. Here, you can tour the distillery, sample locally produced whisky, and learn about the traditional Scottish distilling process. Nearby, Lochranza’s picturesque castle ruins provide a fantastic photo opportunity. Arran is a paradise for outdoor lovers. You can enjoy cycling, sea kayaking, horse riding, and wildlife spotting, with opportunities to see red deer, seals, and even golden eagles.
