Located on the border of the Quantocks, youâll find the perfect blend of countryside charm, family-friendly attractions, and easy access to the coast. And with a cosy pub right on your doorstep, youâll be well-fuelled for days of exploring and adventure. 3 miles away is the charming harbour town of Watchet, where you can wander along the marina, hunt for fossils on the beach, or simply enjoy an ice cream with a sea view. A real highlight for families is the chance to hop aboard the West Somerset Railway, a heritage steam train offering a scenic ride through the rolling countryside. 9 miles from your base, Dunster Castle is a must-visit. Managed by the National Trust, this historic site boasts beautiful gardens and fascinating history. For a classic seaside day out, Minehead is 11 miles away, with sandy beaches, arcades, and family-friendly cafes.
