Nice cottage on Öland with grazing sheep in the surroundings I SE04033

Cozy cottage in a scenic location in the heart of Öland, approximately 18 km southeast of Borgholm.



The cottage offers a cozy living room with a fireplace, a well-equipped kitchen with a small wood-burning stove, and a large bathroom with a shower, WC, and washing machine.



The main house has been extended with a new upper floor and now offers a total of six standard beds. On the ground floor, there is one bedroom with a double bed and a child's bed. On the upper floor, there are four single beds, making the house perfect for both families and smaller groups.



Outside the house, there is an outdoor seating area with a barbecue where you can enjoy pleasant summer evenings. The large garden offers plenty of space for ball games and other outdoor activities for both children and adults.



Things to See and Do in Borgholm and the Surrounding Area



The owners, who live nearby, have several sheep grazing in the surrounding fields. They also have a slaughterhouse if you would like to purchase lamb meat.



About a 15-minute drive away is Borgholm, with its selection of shops, restaurants, and the King's summer residence, Solliden. If you would like to play golf, there are several excellent golf courses within a reasonable distance. You can swim at Störlinge Bodar, where there are beautiful sandy beaches. If you are interested in agriculture and vintage vehicles, the popular Störlinge Agricultural & Motor Museum is located just 1 km away. You can also visit the Öland Museum Himmelsberga, where you will find cultural history, art, events, handicrafts, and an open-air museum with native Swedish farm animals. Here you can also enjoy coffee, homemade pastries, and lunches in a genuine Öland setting. About 30 minutes away, you will find Gårdby Café & Country Store, which combines a general store, garden café, interior design shop, and clothing store. If you would like to dine at a fine seafood restaurant with sea views, Kårehamn Fish & Seafood Restaurant is recommended.
