Excellent house, very clean and fully appointed. Great location, minutes from downtown. Hosts and neighbors are very friendly. My wife and I had a nice time visiting Asheville.
Loved this home!! It was the perfect location for our 4 day trip. Did some hiking (Grandfather Trail and Looking Glass Rock), River Arts District, and spent a couple days at the Biltmore Estate!! Host was great!!
This is our second time staying there in winter. It is very convenient location. We walk downtown most of the time. The place is super clean and had all we needed for our stay. I have a sensitive back so this time , like last time, I wake up with back pain, so not sure if it is a mattress issue or a mattress box issue.
Absolutely loved this very comfortable one bedroom home. Exceptionally clean when we arrived. Enjoyed the front deck for morning coffee and the neighborhood was beautiful. We found the location was walkable to downtown Asheville.
This property is terrific! It was spotlessly clean, very nicely decorated with cozy touches and comfortable seating and sleeping options. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, the bathroom towels were soft, and there were plenty of backup supplies. Very nice walking neighborhood and an excellent location for accessing downtown and major highways. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.
We really enjoyed our stay here. It is very convenient location. Walked downtown several times. Close to several restaurants. The property is like a newly renovated or built guest house. Very clean and had all the essentials in it. Was very easy to communicate with the host. Will definitely stay here again
Beautiful new well designed one bedroom apartment. Great neighborhood. Convenient location. Off street parking. Dining on deck. We would love to return.
My husband and I spent a month in this âtreehouse.â It was perfect for two people. The rooms are spacious and the front deck with the table, chairs and grill are additional living space. It is close - walkable - to downtown and there is easy access to Interstates 26 and 240. The Montford neighborhood is great for walking, viewing the beautiful restored houses and saying hello to the many who are also outside walking and visiting with neighbors.
We highly recommend this little house. It was spotless, nicely decorated and full of thoughtful amenities. Danya, Steve and Lynn, thank you for everything.
I can't imagine a better place to spend the month of September than this charming, quiet, well-stocked, spotless treehouse. The neighborhood is gorgeous, the neighbors are friendly, and Danya et al did everything possible to make my experience extraordinary. The month flew by, and, even without a car, I was able to swim laps in the local pool, tour the Asheville landmarks and enjoy downtown. Truly exceptional. I am sure I will return.
I chose Montford because I wanted a location where I could walk in a pretty, residential neighborhood and also walk to downtown Asheville. The property is in a perfect location for both. I so enjoyed seeing the older homes with beautiful flower gardens (plus Montford Park and the Reed Creek Greenway are close by), and it was so nice to walk downtown without worrying about parking. The property itself is beautifully and thoughtfully appointed, and Danya is probably the most responsive host Iâve dealt with to date. You feel like youâre in your own private cottage because a driveway runs between the property and the main house where Danyaâs in-laws, Lynn and Steve, live. Lynn and Steve made me feel very welcome, and they strike a perfect balance between being friendly but not at all intrusive. Overall, I highly recommend this property!
Looking for the perfect base for a monthlong exploration of Asheville and all of the natural beauty surrounding it? You've found it. Nestled in the historic neighborhood of Montford, less than a mile north of downtown, you'll feel like you're in the middle of an enchanted forest, and walks in all direction beckon with the promise of charming old homes and verdant yards. And with an open concept, high ceilings, windows on all sides, and a great little deck, the treehouse lives larger than its 675 square feet.
You'll be a block from pretty little Montford Park, with its tennis and basketball courts, a relaxing and scenic stroll from three or four great locally owned restaurants (don't miss charming little All Day Darling) and an easy one-mile drive to three grocery stores, including Whole Foods.
Bring your bike and hop on the greenway trail that's just down the hill and parallels the French Broad River. Stop for tacos by the river at White Duck, or stretch it out and ride to popular New Belgium Brewery for a fortifying draft on their beautiful elevated deck. If you prefer to drive, you can be on the historic Blue Ridge Parkway in ten minutes, or at the entrance to Great Smoky Mountains NP in about an hour.
Such a great little place in the Montfort area near downtown Asheville. Within walking distance to most adorable coffee truck, the Greenway and Montfort Park. Felt very comfortable walking streets and this location was close to everything. The little cottage had lots of privacy and adequate parking. The queen bed was quite comfy and the kitchen and bathrooms were updated and felt brand new. Such a cozy place to spend Fall in Asheville!
This little house is like new and in a hilly, quiet historical neighborhood not far from downtown. Perfectly clean. Neighbors walk by on the street with their dogs. Streets are very narrow and curvy, requiring careful driving. Whole Foods and Trader Joeâs just 4 minutes away.
This was a fantastic place to stay and enjoy the ambience of one of Ashevilleâs most historic neighborhoods. The hosts are next door and very helpful. Everything was neat and clean, and well supplied. Location is central to everything.
We loved our stay in the perfect place for the two of us. It had everything we needed to feel at home. The historical neighborhood was so interesting with so many beautiful old homes. Even though the homes are on small city lots, we felt secluded amongst all the trees, bushes and greenery.
We would love to stay here again and will recommend it to friends interested in visiting Asheville.
This pretty little cottage is surrounded by greenery and is beautifully decorated inside. You can walk everywhere, including downtown and onto the Reed Creek Greenway. Monford park is right around the corner and the wonderful Nine Mile restaurant is just up the street. The proprietors are kind and available, and respectful of privacy! We will be back .
This apartment is perfectly sized and appointed, and well-located in the historic Montford neighborhood. The hosts are friendly and very helpful without being intrusive. We would definitely stay here again on a return to Asheville, and will certainly recommend this lovely apartment to friends headed this way.
