Notre villa est une maison de 4 chambres et 3 salles de bains pouvant accueillir 8 personnes (maximum) confortablement, avec une piscine récemment rénovée Situé dans des jardins paysagers isolés avec des palmiers, des bougainvilliers, des hibiscus et des arbustes d'oiseaux de paradis. Il est entiÚrement climatisé avec des ventilateurs de plafond, des plafonds voûtés, un mobilier de style contemporain et toutes les commodités pour des vacances en villa parfaites. Télévision par cùble et Internet WiFi est fourni.
Le salon, la cuisine et la salle à manger s'ouvrent tous sur la véranda et la terrasse, faisant de la calebasse un endroit idéal pour vivre en plein air grùce à une piscine de 15 x 30 pi avec des marches pour un accÚs facile.

Highly recommend the amazing Villa we stayed in. It had everything we needed and more. The Villa and pool are gorgeous and it’s all been beautifully kept. The owners and Management team were very helpful and informative from start to finish. The Villa is in an ideal location, very close to Jolly Harbour and its beautiful beach. Thankyou so much. We will defintely be back and will definitely stay at the beautiful Villa again. Antigua is a beautiful place to visit.

My wife and I, along with two of our very best friends, stayed in the Calabash Villa from 5-12 July. The four of us found the space comfortable and well-equipped. The pool was wonderful, and larger than we expected. We would have liked to have had an electric dryer, but we knew the home didn't have one and planned accordingly. We also wished the air conditioning had been set slightly lower, particularly at night, as guests are not allowed to adjust the settings. The location was outstanding. The villa is very close to Jolly Beach, a grocery store, and several excellent restaurants. Jolly Beach was wonderful, but we also enjoyed Darkwood and Deep Bay beaches. For nearby restaurants we highly recommend the Fox House and Al Porto. The landscaping of the property gave a sense of privacy, as lush vegetation and flowers surrounds the perimeter. We only wish that the one neighbor's dog didn't wake us, almost with alarm clock precision, at around 0700 each day. The beds were comfortable and we appreciated that we had plenty of bathroom space. The greeting staff was also very accommodating.I wish there was a scale between 4 and 5 stars. 4 doesn't quite seem adequate, but I can't quite assign perfection. The home is lovely and we enjoyed our stay in Antigua. If you really want to experience Antigua, rent a place like this, get a car, and drive everywhere...from English Harbor to Devil's Bridge. You'll enjoy the adventure, and you'll be thankful that experienced Antigua.

Relaxing Stay at Calabash Villa

We really enjoyed our stay at Calabash Villa. We were four friends, so appreciated the space of 4 great bedrooms, with comfortable beds. We loved the pool area with sofas and dining area and especially the lovely view with the surrounding garden. We felt well prepared before we arrived with information about the villa, the area and Antigua and we were well looked after by the local teamfor anything we needed help with during our stay. We would definitely come back again. Many thanks!

Beautiful Villa

The villa was wonderful and met our expectations. The space worked well for our group of six. We loved the outdoor area and pool. The beautiful landscaping provided wonderful privacy. The location was great. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location to beautiful beach

Calabash Villa was ideally located with less than 10 minute walk to beautiful Jolly Beach, restaurants and grocery store. The villa was spacious with large bedrooms and eat-in kitchen. While the living room was a bit small, we hardly spent time in it and opted to sit outside on beautiful patio. Both the owner Alan and property manager Jovanna were gracious hosts and responsive to all questions.

Family Vacation @ Jolly Habour

We chose this location as there were 7 adults looking for a walkable location in Antigua. This VRBO checked every box for us. From the initial booking with the owner and mgmt staff, they were very responsive to our questions and easy to deal with before and during our stay! House was exactly as described. I would highly recommend this property to anyone wishing to stay in Antigua and more specifically Jolly Harbour! Thanks again for your hospitality!

Fabulous holiday

Having stayed in this location 6 times, Villa Calabash turned outbto be the best so far! It was so pretty, newly decorated, great location 2 minute walk from Jolly Harbour. The bedroooms were all large with lotsnof wardrspace. Master was en suite and we had 2 more showernrooms.

Enjoyable time in Antigua

The house was exactly as described and very clean. The management company was communicative and available to answer questions, arrange transportation, etc. We rented golf carts which made getting to the beach very quick and easy, although you can also walk. Easy access to grocery, restaurants, beach. Very nice place!

Very pleasant stay at the villa. Super convenient for access to the supermarket and local beach. Property manager helped us organise a couple of rental cars which made getting around the island so much easier.

Nice house for a family

Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay at Villa Calabash. Lots of space, good location within easy walking distance of Jolly Beach, supermarket and restaurants, and short drive to Ffryes and Darkwood beaches. The communication was excellent.

Paradise!

Our family of 8 recently stayed here. The villa is wonderful, fully equipped and spacious enough for us all. The bedroom configuration worked especially well for us (baby and toddler furthest away from living area). Beautifully clean with great outside space and gorgeous pool. We rented a car, but the walk to the beach and supermarket was an easy stroll also. Jolly beach is perfect for little ones, but other glorious beaches only minutes away by car. Communication was fantastic, all my queries and questions answered promptly, and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be back!

Great location!!

With less than a 10 minute walk to the beach and a 3 minute walk to the local grocery store the location of this villa was fantastic. The lush plants and garden are what really separate this villa from the others nearby as you feel totally secluded and honestly with the gigantic pool, enormous deck and all of the seating areas on the deck it made it hard for our family to actually leave the villa!

Choose Calabash for your Antiguan Adventure!

Calabash Villa was the perfect place for our first-ever visit to Antigua! The location is ideal: super close to the supermarket and amazing restaurants, and a quick walk or drive to the best beaches on the Caribbean side of the island. The house was clean and comfortable, and we loved lazy mornings and tranquil evenings on the lanai. The pool is fantastic—perfect for a late-night dip. Alan prepared us so well for what it would be like at the house and on the island that everything was easy and stress-free all week. The beds were comfortable, you can't go wrong with multiple bathrooms, and we loved being able to eat meals at the house (when we weren't out looking for the island's best roti, rum punches, and coconut shrimp, that is!). We rented a car and drove all over, from St. John's to Long Bay, English Harbour, etc., but quickly found that Jolly Harbour and this villa were the best, most beautiful, and most accessible and friendly parts of Antigua. We highly recommend Darkwood Beach for an afternoon of swimming and off-the-beach snorkeling, Big Head Lobster for a delicious dinner, and renting Calabash Villa from Alan. You won't be disppointed!

A perfect house for four friends!

The house looks exactly like its photos, even better if that's possible. Four friends each had their own bedroom and 3 1/2 bathrooms, a large bright kitchen with everything we needed, a lovely outdoor sitting area, and the most perfect pool, which the sun kept at the ideal temperature. We liked the privacy, and though we could sometimes hear neighbors, workers, and dogs, it was muffled by the abundance of foliage and bougainvillea. The proximity to all the restaurants, shops, and beach in Jolly Harbour was a plus, and the host's recommendations for places to eat and swim were appreciated! We loved Fryyes Beach and Darkwood Beach especially (and Jolly Beach) and our week was up before we knew it.

My husband and I were so pleased to call Calabash Villa our home for 3 weeks. This villa is as advertised: modern, well maintained and pristine. It met/exceeded our expectations. The villa is well appointed and had everything we needed. We loved the close proximity to the market (a 5 min walk) and to Jolly Beach ( a 10 min walk). Alan, the owner, was wonderful to work with. Very responsive. He provided great info re: Calabash and the island prior to arriving. The management team of Joelle, Jovanna and Ben met our every need/request. Avril did a fabulous job of cleaning each week. We highly recommend Calabash Villa for your next getaway to Antigua!

Beautiful Villa

We stayed here with our two boys (10 and 8). The villa is perfect- beautifully done with spacious bedrooms and great outdoor hang out areas. Very comfortable with everything you need! The location is just outside of jolly harbour on a rough road so definitely recommend getting a car- especially if you want to go to some of the other beaches. We spent most days at Darkwood Beach where the snorkeling was great!

FANTASTIC trip to Antigua

We had an absolutely wonderful time at the Calabash Villa! There were seven of us and we had plenty of room! The bedrooms are spacious, and the room with two beds actually has two double beds (rather than two twins). The kitchen was well stocked with plates, glasses, bowls, etc. I would HIGLY recommend renting a golf cart for your visit. We rented two and were able to easily traverse to the beach, grocery store and plenty of restaurants. We used beach chairs and umbrellas at the Pop Up Beach Bar on Jolly Beach and did several excursions around the island. It was truly magnificent!

Jolly Harbor

The property was great. Accommodated two families with kids ranging from 11 to 16. Location of Jolly Harbor was terrific. Supermarket, shops and the beach was within 5 minutes. We rented a car and a golf cart which was perfect to explore the island and allow the kids to travel to Jolly Harbor. Went to many lovely beaches but Jolly Beach was beautiful and had the convenience of food, water sports, etc. Loved our time at the Villa. Alan was very helpful prior to the trip and the management company was accessible for anything we needed.

Before settling on Antigua for a holiday home we considered many places, eventually checking out Antigua which ticked all our boxes, English speaking, warm and sunny all year round, beautiful beaches and scenery and friendly people. We furnished the villa to create a modern, light, spacious design that lights up as the sun shines in through the many windows. We always feel uplifted whether in the villa, on the deck, in the pool or on the beach, the blue sky, turquoise sea and lush greenery colour everything.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We bought our villa in 2007 and we have been visiting ever since often with our two grown up children and their partners and granny who absolutely love Antigua. We often spend Christmas and New Year in Antigua and would recommend Sailing week (late April) and not forgetting Carnival ( August). Calabash is ideally positioned with all the conveniences of Jolly Harbour Marina and with several beautiful beaches within minutes. For those wanting to explore the Island's many sights, travel north to the colourful St. John's, Fort James and Dickinson Bay or turn south along the scenic Fig Tree drive to Falmouth Harbour, English Harbour and the historic Nelsons Dockyard.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

You do not need to have a car to enjoy our villa, being within walking distance of Jolly Harbour with it's restaurants, bars, shops and golf course, beautiful Jolly Beach & Valley Church Beach with beach chairs, sailing etc. For those wanting to explore further you can hire a car from Jolly Harbour for a few days and see the many sites and history of the island. On returning to the villa after time on the beach you can cool off in the pool, enjoy the sun loungers with drinks and look forward to your own BBQ as the sun sets.
There is a Management team who are happy to help you with any sight seeing arrangements and assist you during your stay at the villa.
