Romantic duplex apartment in the mountains with pool and amazing views
Cozy duplex apartment with all comforts with open living space with kitchen, living room and dining area. There is a separate bathroom on the ground floor and a bedroom on the first floor with a double bed. Furthermore, the apartment has a small private terrace with picnic table and sun loungers that offers a view of the mountains.
The house is located on a mountainside and is surrounded by nature, which makes it the ideal place to relax and disconnect.
The apartment is part of a renovated farmhouse, called Mas de Pau, with 4 other apartments, each with their own entrance and terrace.
The country house is located on a 6 hectare property with mainly olive and almond trees. It is surrounded by mountains and is within walking distance of the small village of Fuentespalda. In the village there are two restaurants, a bakery, 3 bars, a small shop and a pharmacy.
If you are a nature lover, Mas de Pau is the ideal place to spend your holiday. Its central location makes it the perfect base to explore the Matarraña with its unspoilt nature and picturesque villages. From the estate you can also start various hiking and cycling routes, visit the cave Coveta de lâaigua or climb the via ferrata.
Towels and sheets are included in the stay.
During the winter months, the pellet stove can be used to heat the apartment. Pellets are included.
Mas de Pau has a covered parking space that is available free of charge to our guests.
In addition to a private terrace, guests can also use the comunal areas:
- the swimming pool with sun loungers and parasols: only open in high season
- a playground for the little ones with swings, slides, trampoline and bicycles, tractors,...
- a covered barbecue area with all the necessary equipment and a view over the valley. There is a large dining table and facilities for making paella. Wonderful to watch the sunset on summer evenings.
- a sun terrace with a swinging bench
- a shady sitting area under the large tree, ideal for having a drink or reading a book
- a petanque court with a beautiful view over the finca
- a laundry room with washing machine, drying racks and ironing equipment
Mas de Pau is completely dependent on solar energy. We therefore kindly request that you do not bring any major consumers such as heating elements (e.g. grill, electric heating, air conditioning). The apartment is equipped with all comforts, but if you miss anything, let us know and we will find a solution.
Access to the apartment is by car via a path one and a half kilometers from the village of Fuentespalda. The first part of the path is paved, but the last 600 meters is an unpaved forest road in good condition.

My husband and I moved to Spain in 2016 to start a new and more relaxing life surrounded by nature. We bought an old masĂa and renovated it into 5 apartments. We love the Spanish nature and the way of live. And having sun nearly everyday brings a smile on our face. The same smile we hope to see with our guests when arriving at our holiday home.
Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?
We immediately fell in love with the property. It used to be an old Spanish farm and while renovating we tried keeping the typical Spanish character of the house. And the views are just amazing. While we are completely surrounded by nature and our 15 acres of olive and almond trees, you have a beautiful view of the village, which is at walking distance from the house.
