I was not allowed to check in, despite paying for the property weeks in advance.
Imagine my shock and surprise when I arrived only to be told that the reservation that I booked **and paid for** 6 weeks earlier was not available because "It wasn't confirmed." When you accept money for a reservation, it's confirmed. If you didn't want to confirm it, then you should have written to say it wasn't available. I will be seeking a refund, as this property was not available for me to stay in, and yet they charged me any way. They didn't even offer me an apology or a refund. So they're just expecting, I guess, to keep my money? This is completely unacceptable.
