Families and groups will enjoy space and tranquillity in this imposing Victorian house in a desirable tree-lined road off Tooting Bec Common in SW London.
It’s both elegant and vibrant with all the hallmarks of a modern London family home lovingly styled by its owners.
With its vast living area, five double bedrooms, secluded garden and off-street parking, it’s the perfect space for up to 10 guests.
The house is located in a family-friendly area in Streatham Park Conservation area, close to green open spaces. It’s a walk or bus ride away from the Northern Line underground at Tooting Bec or Streatham mainline station is 0.3 miles away giving quick access into central London.
Your Home
Enter via the magnificent, tiled entrance hall and you can take your pick from the living spaces that best suit your mood. There’s a charming formal reception room benefitting from a wealth of period features including fireplace, parquet flooring and high ceilings. Here you can lounge comfortably on one of the two chunky sofas and gaze through full-height windows onto the lush garden.
On the other side of the hallway, there’s a deep forest green snug room with fun artwork ideal for young adults to chill out. Or you can all gather around the dining table in the modern kitchen with its hint of rustic charm. Huge bi-fold doors lead onto the garden’s patio deck for drinks in warm weather while youngsters can enjoy playing in the large lawned garden.
Upstairs you will find five double bedrooms across two floors. All are full of character and style with the top floor having oodles of natural light from skylights. Two of the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms plus there is a family shower room and downstairs cloakroom.

Allergy sufferers should note that a dog usually lives in this house (although will not be there during visits). Children using the play equipment in the garden must be supervised by adults at all times. No pets upstairs and only 1 pet per booking is accepted with an additional charge of £40.
