Isle of Wight Vacations provides self-catering holiday accommodation on the Isle of Wight. We own and manage a number of properties and provide a holiday lettings management service for other property owners.

Most of our properties are dog friendly and many are open all year round. We also have some properties that do not allow dogs.

All properties have bedding included and you'll find some essentials in the property for your arrival.

We can book discounted ferry tickets with either Wightlink or Red Funnel, subject to availability. Early booking is essential during school holidays.

All properties are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between guests to ensure we remain Covid Secure.

Lower Hyde Holiday Park has a bar and restaurant, a children's play area with swings and climbing frame, football and basketball pitches, and a swimming pool. Passes for the resort facilities and entertainment can be purchased at reception if required.

Please note that resort facilities are open from mid-March to October half-term only. Please note these facilities are provided by the holiday park, not by us, so we cannot quote prices, opening times or availability.

There are three car ferry routes to the Isle of Wight, operated by Wightlink from Portsmouth and Lymington, and Red Funnel from Southampton. We can book discounted ferry tickets for you with both Wightlink and Red Funnel, subject to terms and availability.

If you are travelling by public transport, we recommend that you travel by Wightlink Fastcat or Hovertravel Hovercraft from Portsmouth to Ryde. There are frequent bus services from Ryde to Shanklin. There is also a train from Ryde to Shanklin.

You do not need a car if you are on holiday in our property as it is close to the railway station, the main shopping area in Shanklin and frequent bus services to other parts of the Island.

This property is about a 10-minute walk from Shanklin town centre and Shanklin station. Shanklin Theatre, Shanklin Old Village with its souvenir shops and tea rooms, and Shanklin Beach are about a 20-minute walk from the property, although you may prefer to drive.

Shanklin is a popular seaside town in the South of the Isle of Wight and is the sunniest place in England. The seafront with sandy beaches, crazy golf, amusement arcades and cafes is a few minutes' drive from our caravan.

Shanklin town centre has a wide range of shops and cafes, and Shanklin Old Village, with its thatched tea-rooms, pubs and gift shops, is very popular. Rhylstone Tea Gardens has crazy golf and award-winning gardens - you might even see red squirrels! Also visit Shanklin Chine, a tree lined gorge with waterfall, which has been a tourist attraction for over 200 years - visit again in the evening when the chine is lit up.

Shanklin also has a lovely traditional theatre, where many famous comedians, bands and others perform.

Frequent bus services operate from Shanklin town centre to other parts of the island, although, you may prefer to drive. Shanklin railway station is opposite the site entrance and has trains running to Sandown, Brading and Ryde.

This is a self-contained property, you can come and go as suits you. You do not need to contact us to check in or out. The key for entry is in a Master Key Safe outside the property, so you can let yourselves in at check in time.

A few days before your holiday, we will send you a message with directions to the property. The key safe code will be sent by text message from IWVacations shortly before check-in time at 4pm. Please note that early check-in is not available.

Although you do not need to meet us, we are normally nearby and available by phone, text message or email, 8am to 10pm. If you have any problems, something is not working, need advice on tourist attractions or anything, please do feel free to contact us.
