Overlooking the Adriatic Sea, Guest House Fontana is set in the idyllic town Mlini, a peaceful seaside village with beautiful beaches and seaside promenade. Guest will have unlimited access to WiFi. Luggage storage is possible prior to check in and parking is free and available on site.

The apartment was lovley, clean with a kitchen and a bathroom with a fantastic view of the ocean, Restaurant about 5 min walk away, More than one beach about 5 to 20 min walk away, Only problem was,that there was no shopping place within walking distance, but no problem with Bus, Bus to Cavtat and Dubrovnik every half hour from busstop 10 min away,Perfect holiday!!!!!

These are lovely apartments with beautiful views, The owners are wonderful with nothing too much trouble, Everything is spotlessly clean, with the towels being changed every day and sheets were changed halfway through our week, Be aware though that it is not in Mlini but in a little place Calle Soline, there isn't anything on the doorstep except one restaurant which was average, But there are buses that run every half hour to neighbouring Mlini and Cavtat, We had a great stay at these apartments,

We had a very enjoyable week of relaxation, exploring and swimming, We rented a car at the airport, which is recommended and drove the short distance to Guest House Fontana, The location is actually in Soline, Mlini and the turn off is across the road from a pizzeria soon after passing the sign for Soline when coming from the airport, Anka is a wonderful hostess and greeted us with a choice of beer or wine, She ensured that we were well looked after and regularly cleaned the apartment, She provided some good advice for travelling, Dubrovnik is a 20 drive and can be a challenge to park, plus it is expensive, We also visited Ston, a 1hr drive away with its amazing medieval wall and fresh mussels and Oysters, Cavtat was also visited, it is nearby, has some family oriented beaches and relatively inexpensive restaurants (compared with Dubrovnik), We spent a couple of days relaxing at the dock just a 5min walk down from apartment, The water is cool but refreshing in the heat, This was exactly the type of holiday we were looking for and would come again, Thank you Anka and Nicolas

I made this booking based on the number of recommendations it had already had on this website and others, The guesthouse is actually based in Soline, the next village to Mlini, but it is on the no, 10 bus route - best to get on and off at the stop in Plat, It takes less than 10 minutes to get to the Fontana but it is down a very steep road, be aware of this if walking is not for you, Cavtat (much more like a seaside town) is about 15 minutes away and Dubrovnik about 25 minutes by bus - again, the no,10, The Fontana itself is lovely, the owner is very friendly and helpful, We had room 3, overlooking the sea with a glorious view, The rooms are very clean and the kitchen is well equipped with cooker, microwave, fridge and freezer, The bathroom has a shower, again very clean and everything works! There is a good Aircon system and a ceiling fan in the bedroom, The only drawback we found is that there is no shop anywhere near so if you haven't a car it means a long walk carrying bags, We would definitely stay here again,
