After staying at Galé beach for 24 years , I have to say this is the best villa we have stayed in , it has a lovely outside pool area and the house itself is homely with everything you could need . The location is perfect , peaceful , minutes from the beach , and easy walking distance to the supermarket and restaurants ..Thank you Sara and family for making our stay perfect in every way. Cannot wait to return in September

Beautiful villa in a quiet and convenient beach location

We (4 adults, 2 children) stayed here for 10 days in June and absolutely loved the villa. A bright and exceptionally well maintained property (even better than the photos show). The terrace doors open completely allowing a relaxing breeze into the villa. The pool is clean and very relaxing (it is a quiet neighbourhood). The beach is also only a few minutes walk away and is also clean, expansive and not at all over crowded. There are a handful of restaurants nearby, and a reasonable sized supermarket only a few minutes walk away. Would definitely consider returning again in the future.

A wonderful villa in a quiet area close to the beach

This is a great villa if you want to spend time way from the typical tourist areas of Albufeira and other such Algarve spots. However, we did go into Albufeira a few times via taxi (get an Uber app, the cost of a fare was only 8 Euros). Miles of quiet sandy beach are just a few minutes stroll down the path next to the villa. The small supermarket opposite is only 25 strides door to door and the Italian restaurant is only 60! You can't have anywhere more convenient than Sara and Perdos villa who were both very helpful and available for any queries or problems we may have had. There is aslo a large supermarket 7 minutes walk away that has everything you could need. My son is coeliac and they stock a good selection of foodstuffs and we were surprised that Bella Vita and the Gale Beach Restaurant catered for his needs. The villa has everything you need for your stay whereas we have been to other places and needed to buy the basic items like salt, sugar, washing up liquid etc. The pictures dont do justice to the size and comfort of the place and it is very cosy in the evenings. All in all it's a great villa and thanks to Sara and Pedro.

A lovley place to stay...

We have just come home from a week's stay in this beautifully located and nice villa in an area close to the Galè beach a few kilometers west of Albufeira. The villa was just perfect for me and my family, with its private swimming pool and great view of the ocean from the 1st floor balcony. The owners were really forthcoming and easy to communicate with, and everything with our stay was just as we had imagined it. This is our third time in the area (every time in a different villa), and the stay was just as good as the other times we've been there. Earlier we have stayed more close to the Sao Rafael beach, but this time we chose something closer to Galè and the Apolonia supermarket. We used YellowFish transfers to get from Faro airport and to the villa (and back), and didn't bother hiring a car. That was no problem at all with easy walking distance from the villa to both restaurants, the Galè beach and the supermarket. There was even a small mini-market just outside the villa's entrance where the kids could go and buy icecream, and we could pick up water and other stuff that was a bit heavy to carry from Apolonia to the villa (which was a 5-7 minutes walk). The villa itself contained everything we needed, and had both a nice table by the pool for breakfast and a more shielded one in a very airy outside hallway on one side of the house where we had lunch. The pool area was large enough for us, and had comfortable sun beds and a parasol to create some shade when we wanted some protection from the sun that was shining all day long! I can easily recommend this for other travelers considering to stay in this area!! :-)

De superbes vacances

Nous avons séjourné une semaine dans cette villa très agréable à vivre (3 adultes et 3 enfants). Maison très bien entretenue, décorée avec goût et idéalement située (200m de la plage et supermarché accessible à pied + restaurants à côté). Nous avons apprécié l'accueil chaleureux des propriétaires, leurs attentions. Nous recommandons à 100% ce séjour et bien sur nous y retournerons prochainement pour de futures vacances.

What a fantastic stay in sunny Portugal!

From the outset Sara was great at communicating and asking us preferences for room set ups before we arrived. She greeted us when we got there and was on hand if we needed anything at all. The house is lovely with 2 fab outdoor areas for eating and the pool was used daily. There's a shop just across the road which we went to every morning for fresh bread and they serve nice coffee etc - we also bought many ice creams! There's a supermarket about 5-10 mins walk away, it's pretty pricey (the M&S of portugal) but if you have a car or if you order an Uber (there were lots available) then you can reach an Aldi in 5 mins. The beach is a short walk away and Sara provides umbrellas for the beach which was very handy or you can spend 20 euros and hire sunbeds with an umbrella on the beach for the entire day. There's plenty of beach bars/ restaurants as well whilst you are there. It's a short distance to Albufeira, and there's actually a tourist train that you can catch from down the road which takes you along the coast. There's a handy italian restaurant at the end of the street which was very nice. The house was very well equipped - the only thing lacking I would say was some plastic plates and bowls for children to use. The beds were very comfortable and the en suites upstairs were great, plus another bathroom on the ground floor. Overall we had a very good week, it was very relaxing and we would definitely rebook! Lovely family villa

I stayed here for 3 weeks and my family joined me at various intervals. The villa was lovely and spacious and we all had a fantastic time. The location is great - a 5minute walk to either Gale or Salgados beach and 5 good restaurants. I have 2 grandsons (6 and 14 months) and Sara was so helpful in making sure we had everything we needed for them both. We had a slight issue with the pool but Sarah sorted that out immediately even though it was a public holiday in Portugal. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to others.

Lovely villa in a great location

South facing garden with pool and plenty of sunshine! Restaurant opposite and a short walk to supermarket, other restaurants etc. Five minute accessible boardwalk to beach and beach bars. Could not be better located to the fabulous sweeping beach! A good bedroom downstairs and good accessibility was brilliant for my parents-in-law who could enjoy everything on one floor and easy access to the beach. Villa was excellently stocked with kitchen utensils, BBQ etc, and even presents for our arrival! Contact with host prior to arrival was very easy and they were very accommodating to suit our arrival time. Thank you!

Sara and Pedro were amazing hosts! Communication was excellent. Rental was a great location for beach, touring, nearby restaurants. They take great pride in their home so we did as well. We would love to return someday and would rent from them again. We had a wonderful family vacation. Thank you

Excelente vivenda

Foi uma excelente semana de férias. A localização é excelente, com tudo que se precisa a muito curta distância, supermercado, restaurantes e praia. Não foi preciso utilizar o carro para nada. De destacar também a simpatia e disponibilidade das anfitriãs. Recomendo esta vivenda bem cuidada e decorada com gosto, para quem queira passar umas férias tranquilas em família.

Uma excelente decisão em ter escolhido esta propriedade para passarmos umas férias em familia longe da confusão e desta pandemia do Covid 19. Propriedade em excelentes condições e muito limpa. A Sara(proprietária) garantiu todas as condições de higiene e limpeza para nos sentirmos seguros. A casa muito bem equipada e todo equipamento e mobiliario actual e em excelentes condições. A localização é a melhor para quem quer parar o carro e poder se deslocar para a praia sem necessidade de pegar o carro. Perfect holiday

Fantastic villa with everything you could possibly need and more. It was beautifully decorated with a large swimming pool which was cleaned regularly throughout our stay. The bbq area and table at the side of the house was a great place to eat out of the sun. Ideally situated in a quiet area close to the beach. You can walk along the nature trail or the beach into Armaçāo de Pėra. There’s an umbrella and cool box provided in the villa which were really handy and we used them most days. The small shop over the road was ideal for bread, milk and snacks, and Apolónia supermarket was only a short walk away. There’s lots of lovely restaurants within walking distance but Doçaria Almeixar was our favourite for breakfast and dinner. Sara and her family were so helpful from the moment we booked until after we returned home, swiftly returning a mobile phone which was left behind in the villa. I would definitely return again and would absolutely recommend it.

Perfect in every way.

Beautiful property. Well located for the beach, which was beautiful, not overcrowded and clean. Villa had everything we could have wished for and more. Perfect for myself , husband, daughter her partner and 2 children, aged 3 yrs and 8 months. The property was of high standard, exceptionaly clean, all the necessary kitchen equipment to prepare meals and large fridge-freezer for storage. Good location to visit areas in the algarve. Very quite area, and I was pleased that the property and the garden was very safe for the children, with high walled gardens and locked gates. Swimming pool was wonderful for us all. Sara and here family meet us on arrival and we're very informative and helpful about the area. Would not hesitate to recommend. We all hope to return.

More than we could have asked for.

I can only describe the villa as being absolutely perfect and from the minute we arrived we were made to feel welcome. The family were there to meet us on arrival and are so very friendly and helpful. The villa itself is exactly as the photographs show and the pool was ideal for my grandchildren. There is a small supermarket literally across the road with a main very well stocked one about a 10 minute walk away. There is a beach literally 200 yards away with quieter beach areas all within a 10 minute walk. We have been to many villas in different countries over the years and this one is undoubtedly the best one. When we return to the Algarve, I will definitely be looking to book this beautiful villa again. Huge thank you to the family for making our holiday absolutely perfect.

A beautiful villa in a lovely quiet area, perfect holiday.

The villa was perfect for us in every way, clean, spacious and tastefully decorated. We arrived after 9pm but there was a lovely Italian restaurant at the end of the road to provide us with sustenance. There was also a little mini mart and coffee shop across from the villa which was so handy for bread, milk, water and wine. The bigger Apolonia supermarket was about ten minutes walk away and well stocked if a little expensive. The beach was less than five minutes away with a good boardwalk stretching right along the coast, ideal for a stroll. The restaurants near the beach were all lovely and you could taxi to Albufeira old town for more choice and shops. We didn’t bother with a hire car. Just along the road was a great sports bar with every channel under the sun and excellent wifi for two teenagers. The villa wifi was too slow for them. We had a perfect, relaxing holiday at this villa and would highly recommend staying here.

Best Villa ever.

This villa is perfect for a quiet relaxing family holiday, the beach is very close and the local restaurants are excellent, our host was very kind and we will definitely return next year. The Harrold Family Ireland

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

I bought this land in 1998, when there were still a few houses in this neighbourhood. The house location very close to the beach, the functional architecture and the quiet neighbourhood led me to make the decision to build the house.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

I loved the location of the house as it is really quiet and underexplored for tourism.
I liked the fact that you can wake up in the top floor suite and look at the sea in the great room's balcony!
The garden with the pool was also another aspect I fell in love, because it creates a perfect place to relax.
