With four large bedrooms, your own alfresco dining haven and a private hot tub under starlight, this Grade II-listed farmhouse is the perfect spot to make families memories to cherish forever.
The beauty begins from the moment you step into the lovely entrance hall, with a handy bench for popping on your walking boots before heading off on a brisk countryside ramble. Part of this characterful Grade II-listed cottage, now the sitting room, is actually listed in the Doomsday book. And now the cosy sitting room is a haven for making fond family memories, feet up, warmed beside the roaring wood burning stove. Tucked away next to the sitting room, is the ‘study area'. This snug nook is perfect for those wishing to tap into lost hobbies during their stay such as reading, writing or drawing.
An abundance of original features still flow throughout The Old Farmhouse. Including the clome oven fireplace which now houses a second wood burning stove in the dining area, where farmers would've cooked over open fire. The superbly equipped kitchen has everything you'll need to make family dining a breeze, including a range cooker, Nespresso-style coffee machine and handy slow cooker. There's a breakfast bar for leisurely dining or a large dining table with seating for ten guests, pop on the Ruark radio or connect to the bluetooth speaker and listen to your favourite playlist. Open the double doors on a summer's day and let fresh air breeze through, or stay toasty during winter thanks to the underfloor heating. You will also find a cloakroom with a WC and wash basin, as well as a utility room housing a washer/dryer and additional fridge on the ground floor, for your convenience.

In bedroom one the four poster bed takes centre stage, this 6' super-king size bed is sure to lull you into a sweet slumber. Bedroom one also offers the opulence of a walk-in wardrobe/dressing room, as well as your own en-suite with a bath and shower. Next you will find the twin room, with 3' single beds, which can be made up as a super-king size bed on request. Younger guests will adore the bunk-bed room which also offers a selection of books to enjoy. The final bedroom hosts a sumptuous 5' king size bed and offers its own character and flair. With vaulted ceilings, a dedicated dressing area, which doubles as a dressing table or study with its vast selection of books, and an en-suite shower-room, this lovely bedroom is just the spot to retreat to after the day's adventures. There is also a sleek family bathroom with a bath with overhead shower, wash basin and WC on this floor.

You'll find a delightful doggy welcome pack upon arrival, as well as outdoor facilities such as; a doggy agility area, enclosed fields and a heated dog wash station.
Settled peacefully on the site of Old Lanwarnick Cottages, The Old Farmhouse has access to some wonderful shared facilities and areas including sun-drenched gardens, a communal gym, pavilion seating area atop a hill with stunning valley views and a cornhole and swing ball set up. Children will love playing on the swings before fending off imaginary giants and building dens amongst the wilderness. Or why not pack up a picnic to enjoy down by the babbling stream. You'll also be able to spot a variety of wildlife here, as well as saying hello to the resident chickens and ducks. There are also 2 bike sheds for storing your bikes. For the ultimate self-care experience, book a spa treatment in the comfort of your holiday home, directly through the owner, with the visiting therapist.
