Head in the opposite direction and you’ll reach the River Ribble within 10 minutes — ideal for a relaxing riverside walk through Miller and Avenham Parks. The Yorkshire Dales and Lake District National Parks are both around an hour’s drive, while Manchester, Liverpool, Blackpool, and Bolton are all easily accessible in under an hour.



Getting Around:

Thanks to its central location, much of the city can be explored on foot. Local bus routes run from the end of the street, and Preston’s main train station is just a 10-minute walk away, offering excellent rail connections across the UK. For day trips, the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District are around an hour’s drive, with Manchester, Liverpool, Blackpool, and Bolton all reachable in under an hour.
