The Hide boasts contemporary and spacious accommodation suitable for a large family or group of friends, and is the perfect holiday home for those looking to enjoy a memorable break in Dorset. Sitting at Silverlake, a luxury gated and private members development, and located in the village of Warmwell close to the county town of Dorchester, The Hide is well-positioned looking out over a lake, with great views of the water and countryside beyond. Enjoy the stylish accommodation, which includes beautiful furnishings and a wood burning stove which is ideal for relaxing evenings together, whilst gazing out of the full-height glass doors to admire the wildlife and glorious surroundings. Guests are invited to take advantage of the numerous on-site facilities which include a heated pool, private Spa, roof bar and cafe, water sports, a private beach, tennis, table tennis and forest playgrounds.
On the ground floor the airy open-plan living space includes a well-equipped kitchen area with island, a generous dining area, and a comfortable sitting area with sofas. A ground floor double bedroom, large shower room/cloakroom, laundry area and boot room complete the well-planned ground floor accommodation. The wall of sliding glass doors connect the interior with the lakeside garden, and invite you to sit outside and enjoy alfresco dining whilst you watch the visiting birds as they land on the water.
On the first floor, you will find three further bedrooms, a king-size with an en-suite bathroom, a twin bedroom, and a bunk room for two children. The family bathroom, and full-height, airy landing completes the attractive accomodation.
Silverlake has acres of woodland and forest paths, with great opportunities for walking and cycling and wildlife spotting. On-site shared facilities are available and include a spa with an outdoor heated swimming pool,roof terrace, cafe, private beach and various spa facilities. The are opportunities for enjoying the numerous on-site activities which include play areas, and equipment hire for a variety water sports, tennis, bike hire, and fishing.
The stunning Jurassic Coast is just a short drive or cycle away, and trips to nearby Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove are recommended. Bovington Tank Museum, Monkey World and Sculpture by the Lakes are just some of the attractions within easy reach, making The Hide a wonderful base for your Dorset adventures.
Whilst this property is fully completed, there are some properties nearby that are still undergoing construction in various phases. On Shepperd's View you will be able to see construction, machinery and workers from 0730 to 1800, Monday to Friday and 0800 to 1300, Saturday. Please abide by any signage relating to construction areas.
