A private hideaway in the Cotswolds, made for slow mornings and hot tub nights. Squirrels Drey is one of three pods on site with plush interiors, a private hot tub, smart TV and high-end touches throughout. Outside, thereâs a bookable sauna, fire pits, BBQs and a pizza oven to share. One well-behaved dog is welcome. Design-led and quietly indulgent - this is a peaceful escape where comfort takes centre stage.

Tucked in the countryside near Upper Minety, the site feels off-grid in the best wayâpeaceful, private, and properly quiet. Youâre surrounded by open skies, fields and fresh air, but still within a short drive of Malmesburyâs indie shops and historic charm, or the lakes for paddleboarding, wild swims and lazy pub lunches. Remote, but not removed. Hidden, but not hard to reach.
Getting Around:
Youâll want a car here - this is countryside with a capital C. That said, once youâre parked, you might not feel like leaving. The lakes, local towns and walking routes are all easy to reach, and thereâs plenty to explore if you fancy stretching your legs. Kemble station (for direct trains from London) is around 20 minutes away by car, and thereâs good access to Cirencester, Malmesbury and beyond.

We are Barry and Jo and we have an amazing collection of Cotswold holiday lodges on Cotswold Water Park near the old Roman town of Cirencester with most of them dog friendly.
Weâve been coming to this beautiful area for many years and about 5 years ago we decided to make the move permanent. We set up our company in 2018, starting with our own holiday home on Windrush lake but as you can see from our portfolio now, we have grown quite considerably! We love to travel and just before the âyou know what pandemicâ we spent 12 months travelling around the world ending up in New Zealand for Christmas and New Year and then working our way up to Hawaii and North, Central and South America. We think we know what it takes to get a place right for our fantastic guests but we are always learning!
We couldnât do this without our fantastic team which is growing year by year. Unlike many of the larger companies selling holiday lets we, and our team, know all of our properties intimately because we provide the full service from cleaning and hosting through to managing the hot tubs, the plants on the decking and even window cleaning! Jo, Adele and Meg are the last ones to visit your holiday lodge just before you get there to make sure the place is perfect for your stay â you may even bump into one of them on your way in!
