Cheerful 3 bed in the heart of Fethard-on-Sea village
Enjoy village life at this centrally-located terraced house in the heart of Fethard on Sea. Ideally located for cafes, restaurants and bars, this property is a cosy oasis for relaxing after long days on the beach or seeing the sights of the Hook Peninsula. The house is over 100 years old and been extended and renovated with modern conveniences to a high standard. The playground is just across the street and the Castle Trail, a lovely woodland walk can be accessed directly from the back of the house. The nearest beach (Grange) is 1km away.
We liked the small town feel. The locals were so friendly and just a short walk to many great places to eat. Accommodations were perfect for the 4 adults!
This was a great place to stay. Very comfortable home with all you need. Perfectly located away from crowded cities yet not completely in the middle of nowhere. Really nice village with friendly people on the sea. We would be very happy to stay again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ireland.
Stayed for 1 week in this beautiful clean modern cottage. It is situated in the heart of the village and although I did not require use of all the facilities, having relatives locally, everything is on your doorstep from shops, restaurants, takeaways and local bars. The cottage itself is kept to a very high standard. It is clean, modern with superbly comfortable beds. The welcome pack that was left was greatly appreciated. I felt very at home and would not hesitate to use it again and also recommend it.The host, Sean, is always available and ready to answer any questions.5 star stay, thank you Sean.
We are avid travelers and mostly stay away from well beaten tracks and always try to stay in rental houses or apartments where possible. There are certain things that give these rentals the wow factor and makes life a little easier when traveling. We have attempted to provide all the facilities & comforts we would expect when traveling in our house.
The house is situated in Fethard-on-sea which is a small quiet village on the Hook peninsula which has 14 beaches, numerous castles and Hook lighthouse which is the oldest working lighthouse in the world.
The house is over 100 years old but extended and renovated to very high and modern standards. It is the center of Fethard-on-sea village so the front door opens onto the main street. We pay particular attention to cleanliness so the property you arrive in is the standard we would expect when we are traveling.
