Mountain Vista Escape

Mountain Vista is a lovely self-catering holiday home with views of the majestic Overberg Mountains and only a 15 minute walk to the well-known Davies Pool in Onrus, Hermanus. The home is adorned with an enchanting African ambiance, and offers plenty of spaces to relax in.

The solar powered house comprises 4 bedrooms and can accommodate 8 guests. The main bedroom is upstairs and contains a king-size bed, en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower. This bedroom offers views of the mountains. The second and third upstairs bedrooms have a double bed each and share a family bathroom with shower and bath. The fourth bedroom is located downstairs and contains a king-sized bed, and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. Crisp linen and towels are provided. Ascending the stairs, you will find a pajama lounge with a couch and TV where you can unwind and relax. The ground floor also features a guest toilet.

The home features a seamlessly integrated open-plan design, where the kitchen gracefully extends into both the dining room and lounge, creating a harmonious flow of space and tranquility. The heart of the home, the kitchen, is a chef's dream, boasting sleek countertops, state-of-the-art appliances i.e. fridge/freezer, a gas hob and oven, microwave, kettle and toaster, a dishwasher, tumble dryer and washing machine.

Adjacent to the dining room, the lounge beckons with plush seating and cozy furnishings, creating an inviting space for relaxation and entertainment. Whether curling up with a book or watching movies, the seamless transition from kitchen to lounge ensures that no one ever feels isolated from the heart of the home.

The lounge's expansive glass doors open effortlessly onto a spacious patio with comfortable outdoor furniture. A dedicated braai area stands ready to ignite culinary adventures on the patio. Beyond the braai area lies the jewel of the outdoor sanctuary—the crystal clear pool, offering a refreshing escape on hot summer days.

Additional features include free Wi-Fi, Netflix and toiletries. A double garage and parking are available on the premises and an alarm system provides additional security. An inverter (backup system) ensures that power outages don’t affect the quality of the guest’s stay.
Total number of occupants will not exceed 8 sleep capacity.
Quiet hours are between 11pm and 8am.
All trash and perishables must be disposed of and dishes washed before departure.
