Luxury, Two bedroom, one bathroom apartment located behind our home in the diverse, friendly, welcoming and amazing Thornton Park neighborhood. Full kitchen with range, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, Keurig machine, coffee maker, and extremely well equipped with dishes, pots, pans, etc. Coffee, coffee pods, tea & sugar, sweetners, & creamers provided. One bedroom has twin beds and the other has a king sized bed. Both bedrooms have televisions as well as Smart TV in Living Room with cable. Free internet. Full-size washer & dryer in the unit. Small dog friendly with additional deposit. Great for long-term stays. Walking distance to Thornton Park shops and restaurants and beautiful Lake Eola and Downtown Orlando city center. Can also walk to Doctor Philips Performing Arts Center and Kia Center, and soccer stadium. Although there is also free bus service (LYMMO) with stop a few blocks away. Also located very close to both AdventHealth & Orlando Health flagship hospitals. Close to all major highways with easy access to all area theme parks and attractions. Walk to Executive Airport. ALL ARE WELCOME & WE HOPE YOU WILL CONSIDER COMING FOR A VISIT!

Another Perfect Stay!

This was our second stay at Scott’s place, and it was exactly as perfect as our previous stay. Of all the places we have tried over the years, Scott’s is the best; it has set the bar very high for what we expect: from the cleanliness, to the comfortable beds, terrific shower, reliable WiFi, spaciousness, and the numerous amenities, it is perfection.

Beautiful Apartment in great neighborhood

WONDERFUL STAY! - beautiful historical neighborhood minutes from downtown Orlando, near Colonial Ave restaurants. Just came for 1 night for a concert. It's a beautiful, comfortable apartment with everything we needed - definitely booking again.

I love that location, so it was an easy choice! The unit is located on the 2nd floor, wasn't ideal renting with a dog. Master bedroom bed was comfortable and well equipped, unfortunately 2nd bedroom beds are loud and squeaky and for the price I would change in order to be able to rest. Also, wasn't able to turn the TV in the living room, wish had clear instructions. Although there was plenty of parking in front of the house, owner requested to park on the dark street, again did not feel most welcome after paying solid price. The vibe was off. Next time I will explore elsewhere.

Very sorry to hear we did not live up to this guest's expectations. However, we are very clear and upfront about parking so it should not have been a surprise...and there is plenty of well-lit street parking in front of the house. We also would have accommodated parking in the driveway had the guest simply asked, but she never did. Pretty easy going here. The guest did not mention the beds during the stay, and nobody has ever commented on them before in the many years we have been renting on VRBO, but, so noted. The guest also never mentioned having issues with the television so this is the first I am hearing about it. We would have been happy to provide immediate assistance...and there are instructions on use in the apartment. Finally, the guest failed to pay the pet fee even though she showed up with a dog. She was then extremely bent out of shape and put out when I asked her to pay the fee as required. We normally receive glowing, five-star reviews so the non-payment of the pet fee (and request that it be paid) could explain the negative vibe that was experienced with this guest.

Neighborhood gem

Went to Orlando for a short weekend stat before a concert. This rental far exceeded our expectations. Clean with all the amenities. Host is wonderful. I can’t recommend this rental enough.

Don't pass on this one

Our weekend stay was nothing short of fabulous. The location was absolutely perfect and within short walking distance to all of the local merchants within Thorton Park. The rental was spotless and fully stocked with all of the essentials. Comfortable beds, plenty of towels, and a great lounging area. I highly recommend this location and property.

As always, Scott is a delightful host, and his spacious two-bedroom apartment is “feels-like-home” perfection. Spotlessly clean, quality beds, nice linens, comfortable living room seating, safe, private, quiet, strong wifi, excellent air conditioning, and well-equipped (hair dryer, mag makeup mirror, iron/ironing board, brew + Keurig coffee makers). Bonus Points: it is all very attractively decorated.

We had a great stay!

The property was incredibly clean and featured a lot of updates. The owners were incredibly kind and responsive to any questions. As far as the neighborhood, you couldn't choose better in Orlando. We took our pets for a walk around the various lakes and had lunch/dinner at the nearby cafés/restaurants. There's also a Publix nearby for those who want to make meals inside the full kitchen. All in all, we had a great stay. If we travel to Orlando again, we hope to stay here!

Superb Visit

This was our third stay at this fabulous rental: always very clean, comfortable quality beds, excellent shower, great WiFi, and stocked with everything you could ever need. And now there’s a Keurig, which is terrific since only one of us is a coffee drinker. And to our absolute delight, the charming hosts decorated the rental for the holidays🎄 So Extra! Love it!

A Very Comfortable Stay in a Great Location

The property would have been rated 5 stars except for two things. It was on a 2nd floor with exterior stairs that made carrying things up there a little hard and the parking was in an adjacent driveway, several feet away. Also, the A/C died the last night we were there. Otherwise the property itself was very nice, with a well equipped kitchen, a comfortable bed and the owners were very responsive to our needs. The bathroom was small but adequate and the location in Thornton Park made getting around very easy.

Perfect Stay! Quiet, Clean, Feels like a Luxury Condo, Fabulous Host.

Great night’s sleep (comfortable beds, new mattresses, nice pillows/linens, silent ceiling fan, quiet neighborhood) Strong WiF Fabulous shower (strong pressure, abundant hot water, fast draining) Immaculately clean. Attractively decorated, comfortable furniture, terrific AC, plenty of lighting, well equipped kitchen. DO NOT hesitate because it’s over the garage ~~ it’s lux inside. Scott couldn’t be nicer.

Couples Getaway for the Holidays

The listing was as expected, based on the description online. A few things could have made for a more pleasurable experience for me and my significant other. For example, there was a stain on the comforter in the master bedroom. Additionally, there was mold on the shower liner in the bathroom. Also the property manager should be mindful of the parking during the holidays. I spent 20min searching for parking, since the parking lot for the rental was full and street parking near the property was unavailable. I parked about two blocks away from the property on the last night of the rental and it was very unexpected. Scott is very nice and the shower pressure is amazing. The coffee maker is nice feature and wonderful blends were available upon use.

Outstanding Lodging Option in Orlando!

I was lucky enough to find this charming apartment to rent while attending the Rolling Stones concert in Orlando. While others were paying astronomically high rates for the few hotel rooms still available, I had a fully equipped and beautiful property at a mere fraction of the cost. The owner has taken a great deal of care in providing anything you need for your stay, including high quality toiletries, plush towels, coffee supplies, and more. All the appliances are modern, there are TVs in the living room and two bedrooms, and a washer/dryer set. Everything was squeaky clean. The decor is great…not cookie-cutter…with a specially fun collection of old rock and roll album covers mounted on the living room wall. The apartment is a second level unit behind the neighbor’s home, and is situated behind a privacy fence in a nice yard. Thornton Hill (where the apartment is located) is lovely and quiet, and seems very safe. Amenities are nearby, and it’s close to downtown Orlando. The owner was responsive when contacted, and kindly granted me a little extra time so that I could go straight back to the train station upon my departure. I also appreciate the apartment being available for just one night. Having managed vacation rentals myself, I know that same-day turnovers can be very labor intensive and stressful. I really can’t say enough good things about this property…highly, highly recommend!!!
