80th Birthday Celebration

Been going the beach at Aberfraw for many years, we watched this property being renovated so when it appeared on Anglesey Holidays we had to book it & it didn't disappoint !!! it is beautiful with everything we needed.

A wonderful place to stay

Y Cei is beautiful. The presentation is perfect in terms of cleanliness and facilities. Lots of bathrooms. 5 loos so bring plenty of loo rolls. The location is perfect too. The view outside changes with the tide and is always breathtaking. It’s incredibly popular- deservedly so - which means it gets booked early. It’s an amazing place to stay.

A beautiful place to stay

This is a beautiful holiday home. The location is amazing. The estuary is so beautiful to wake up to. The weather was amazing which always helps but the house was brilliant too. Comfy beds. Spotlessly clean. Lots of lovely bathrooms. The kitchen had everything that you need. Even the garden was spacious with lots of places to sit. This was pretty perfect.

Taking Time Out

What a wonderful spot for our family break! To wake to those views, that we never tired of. The perfect place To gather our thoughts and spend quality time together as a family. We have very recently lost our father and it was so nice to sit outside in the sheltered area and reflect on stories about him, sharing a cheers together. The dogs loved it and were truly worn out with all the fresh air and endless breathtaking Coastal walks. We had an absolutely amazing time and did not want to leave, Thankyou Y Cei!!

Perfect!

Stunning property and location. We stopped with three generations and a dog. Lovely and clean and well equipped for cooking. Lots of time spent looking out of the windows at the ever changing view of the estuary, sea birds and dog walkers! Minor issue with heating in lower level dealt with same day. Loved it so much we've already booked for next year.

A beautifully presented, spacious, comfortable, modern and well equipped house. Stunning views.

This house surpasses all expectations. It is spotlessly clean, comfortable, spacious, well equipped and stylish. The views are stunning outside and the decor has been tastefully done to reflect the colours and textures of the landscape. Excellent location, numerous thoughtful touches and everything you need to feel right at home.

Absolutely perfect for rest and relaxation. Everything is 5 stars, did not want leave and would love to return. Book a stay here and you will not be disappointed, we always come to Anglesey and have stayed in many cottages Y Cei is exceptional.

Lovely Location

A fabulous location for a multi-generational family week away. A large, very comfortable social, living, dining, cooking space and a very welcoming pet friendly house. Comfortable outdoor seating in several locations to follow the sun or shelter from the wind. Top tip - download the location/instructions before you get near the property, the house logo on the Anglesey Holiday Lettings instructions/link/map was not quite in the correct location so we needed the written instructions too, the mobile data signal is poor in the locality. Next top tip take plenty of toilet roll, the welcome pack provided us with 3 toilet rolls for a 5 toilet property, we had been told what was in the welcome pack but thought it was a bit mean not to start off with at least one roll for each toilet!

A super luxury house in the most edilic location

My goodness, we had seen Y Cei previously on a walk to the beach and thought, we'd love to stay there. So we did and we were not dissapointed! What a beautifully laid out property. The location is to die for with the most amazing views. The quality of the furniture and full equipped with everything you would need. Beautifully decorated and each bedroom having its own bathroom really made the space easy to be in. Totally and utterly loved it, will be booking it again.

Lovely property

Fabulous property in a beautiful location. Amazing view from open plan area. It lacks a tumble dryer if you are a big family with children. The weather can be unpredictable, so drying washing outside is not always possible. I made a comment about the poor welcome pack compared to previous stays with Anglesey Holiday Lettings, my reply was somewhat rude. Not how I would treat a customer in any sector. The house is amazing, I highly recommend staying there.

Somewhere to really switch off

The property is immaculate, the views are stunning and the location is fantastic. If we weren’t out and about I spent most of my time indoors sitting on a window ledge just watching the estuary and the dunes beyond. If you get a clear night the skies are amazing. It is such a peaceful, relaxing place. We will be back.

Fabulous cottage, fully equipped for a lovely break

Our only negative would be that the twin room with mezzanine level in our opinion is only suitable for children as the single bed is built in the walls. Fortunately we were a party of 6 so didn’t need to use that bed.

Perfection

We had the most wonderful break at Y Cei. All you could possibly want or need was there, the owners have thought of absolutely everything. It was decorated beautifully throughout and felt very luxurious . The big windows with seats had views over the lovely beach and were perfect for people watching with a morning coffee and sea breeze. It was a great base for exploring the south of the Island and was only 10 mins drive away from the beautiful Newborough beach. We will most certainly be back.

Amazing break

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this beautiful holiday house on the estuary in Anglesey. The home itself was stunning — spotless, comfortable, and equipped with everything you could possibly wish for. The views over the estuary were breathtaking, changing beautifully with the light throughout the day, and created the perfect backdrop for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. Our Labrador was a fan also…loved being sprawled out on the floor with underfloor heating. Everything about our stay exceeded expectations, from the thoughtful touches in the house to the unbeatable location. We genuinely didn’t want to leave! We will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

Spring Break

Y Cei ticked all our boxes. We found the location ideal being a walk away from the beach and the facilities were excellent. The heating is underfloor and it was too warm. Unfortunately, the thermostat is locked and our dogs became distressed and had to sleep in the porch to keep cool. The garden is not suitable for young children nor large dogs as there is a a low wall and a big drop the other side. One dog escaped by jumping out. We had a long lead luckily and were able to tie the dogs up outside. We had to contact Customer Services for something else and they responded immediately and resolved our issue very promptly. We would highly recommend Y Cei and we will book it again.

Fantastic location ,great views etc,great for dogs ,well finished property, minor issue wifi info supplied did not match the router, easily solved. Would rebook for summer , would also book winter break if property had wood burner installed rather than electric fire which didn’t really look great and apparently was for decorative purposes only ,

Wow! I can’t rate Y Cei highly enough. Stunning.

The house looks even better when you get inside than it does on the advert. Everything about it just screams quality. The fittings, furniture, glassware, cookware, bedding. Y Cei was beautifully clean, extremely well appointed and, Oh My Word … the view!! We were lucky enough to be able to sit out in the garden a couple of times and the garden furniture is also exceptional quality. Our dogs loved the garden. We had a wonderful 10 days there and if I could give it a higher star rating then I absolutely would. We loved the place and would absolutely recommend it. Our party was 6 adults, a teenager and two Golden Retrievers. The bedrooms were all en-suite and the beds thoughtfully configured for different guest make-ups. Thank you for a fantastic holiday. We would love to go again.

A beautiful house and location

We stayed here in August 2024 for a week and we can not fault anything. The house was immaculate and had everything to hand that you needed and the location was amazing. We had two families a total of 8 staying in the house together and there was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. There are lots of lovely walk routes that go past the house and the beach is only a short walk away. There is a local shop, tearoom and a pub all within walking distance (unfortunately we could not go test out the pub as it was being refurbed when we were there). We would love to be able to return one day as we have made so many lovely memories whilst staying here. Its a gem of a place.
