Venture to Rockcliffe and Kippford (1.5 miles), just a leisurely stroll along forest tracks from your lodge, to savour delicious meals and drinks while overlooking the waterfront at the Anchor or Mariner. Nestled amidst the woodland, this remarkable log cabin presents an enchanting escape with three relaxing bedrooms catering to every need. The master bedroom boasts a charming king-sized bed, plenty of storage space, and a private en-suite bathroom. The lovely double bedroom also has ample storage. Meanwhile, the twin bedroom offers cosy accommodation with overhead lockers and a chest of drawers. A family bathroom awaits, featuring a large shower cubicle perfect to step into after a soak in the hot tub. Stepping into the bright open-plan living area there is a harmonious blend of elegance and comfort. Divided into three areas, it features a fully equipped kitchen and dining space, where a table set for six overlooks the forest and decking through expansive sliding doors. A comfortable lounge area beckons with plush seating arranged around a warming wood burner, offering solace on cooler evenings. Additional sliding doors seamlessly merge indoor and outdoor living, granting access to the decking enveloped by the majestic forest.
Beyond the cabin lies a realm of outdoor splendour. Ample parking awaits on a private drive, leading to the elevated abode adorned with a decked area, ideal for al fresco dining. Enhancing the outdoor experience is a separate BBQ grill cabin, complete with a soothing sauna and an outdoor hot tub, perfectly positioned for watching local wildlife or stargazing. The surrounding woodland beckons with family-friendly trails, frequented by an array of wildlife, from deer to red squirrels, promising unforgettable encounters with nature's marvels.
