Sarris Villa

Sarris Villa is a charming countryside retreat located in the picturesque village of Agios Mamas. Surrounded by stone walls and the beautiful Cretan landscape, it offers an ideal base for exploring the island. The sandy beaches of Panormo are just 18 km away, Rethymno city is 33 km, and Heraklion is 75 km from the property.



The villa spans two floors and can comfortably accommodate up to 15 guests with its 5 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. On the ground floor, you’ll find a spacious, traditionally furnished living room with a cozy fireplace that opens directly to the terrace and private swimming pool. This floor also features a fully equipped kitchen, a large dining area, two bedrooms (one double and one with three single beds), a family bathroom with a bathtub, and a conveninent WC.



Upstairs, there are three bedrooms: the first with a double bed, a single bed, an open fireplace, and an en-suite bathroom; the second with three single beds and an en-suite shower; and the third with a double bed and an en-suite shower. Two additional folding beds can be added if needed.



Outside, the villa offers a 35 m² private swimming pool (1.20 m deep) surrounded by high trees and stone walls for complete privacy. The pool area includes loungers, umbrellas, a large wooden dining table, BBQ facilities, and charming decorative elements such as an old well. The terraces and outdoor spaces provide a perfect setting for relaxing, dining, and enjoying the surrounding countryside.



Please note that the swimming pool is not heated, so the water temperature depends on weather conditions. Guests have full private access to all areas of the villa, both indoors and outdoors.



Agios Mamas and its surrounding villages are quintessentially Cretan, offering an authentic local experience. Perama village, 15 minutes by car, provides supermarkets, bakeries, taverns, pharmacies, ATMs, and other essential services. Panormo, a seaside village 25 minutes away, is known for its sandy beaches—Limanaki and Limni—which are shallow, family-friendly, and equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas. The village also offers water sports, a port area, and a wide selection of cafes, traditional taverns, and shops for all needs.

There is a road parking available. For exploring Crete’s beautiful landscapes and beaches, a car is highly recommended.
