At the Monte White House Villa you will constantly be amazed by the fabulous panoramic views of Funchal bay and the sea. In the daytime, enjoy watching the cruise ships arrive and depart, and in those lovely warm evenings, marvel at the twinkling lights of Funchal. Without hesitation, the best view from any of the villas in Madeira – and the perfect vantage point for the famous New Years Eve firework display.
On the entrance floor of the villa, you will find the open plan sitting and dining area and fully equipped kitchen, all benefitting from those wonderful views over the town and sea. You can imagine your morning coffee admiring the views or the beautiful sunsets whilst relaxing in the evening.
You will also find a double bedroom and a family bathroom on this floor.
Stairs lead to the lower floor, where you will find a double bedroom with en-suite shower room and sea and harbour views, a further interior bedroom with 2 single beds and ensuite shower room, and a further very spacious Master bedroom with chaise longue, 2 single beds, en-suite shower room and again with those wonderful views.
The pool deck is set just below and occupies the whole of the front area of Monte White House, a veritable balcony over Funchal bay and the ocean. Set around the rectangular swimming pool are sun loungers and outdoor furniture.
A set of stairs lead to the small games room with darts and table football. You will also find a portable barbecue and an occasional table and chairs perfect to appreciate those perfect afternoons and evenings.
Monte White House is located in a residential area in Monte at the end of a small street with no exit. The nearest bakery and a pharmacy are only 200 meters from the Villa, up a hill. A large, branded supermarket, and the nearest petrol station are only approximately 2.6 Km away.

Swimming pool heating:
Heating is optional and costs 210,00€ per week for 24ºC, paid in cash on arrival.

Pool heating can be provided and should be requested at least one week in advance. Should it be requested after arrival at the villa, the minimum charge applicable is one week, which is payable from the time the heating is turned on.

Cleaning
The property is prepared for your arrival. For stays of longer than 7 nights, a change of linen and towels, and light mid-stay cleaning of bathrooms is provided on a day and time to be advised at check-in.
All linen and towels are provided.
For health reasons, linen for a baby cot is not provided and you should bring your own.
Guests need to vacate the villa during a mid-stay clean and change of linen.

Booking Notes
The rental value varies with the number of people occupying the property, so please ensure you enter the correct dates, number of adults, children and infants. Please note that supplements apply should additional people join you for any length of time.
To secure your reservation we require a 30% deposit, or the full amount if you are arriving within 8 weeks. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to arrival.
A security deposit of 300€ is required by credit card prior to check-in.
Final details for check-in and driving instructions to the property will be sent 7 days prior to arrival and once you have paid your balance. A mobile contact number will be provided, and to be able to access the property, you need to phone this number as you are leaving the airport. It is your responsibility to contact and advise this mobile number provided on the check-in details to advise any delays to the expected check-in time.
Check-in times at the property - are between 16H00 and 19H00. For Sunday arrivals and out of hours check-in, alternative arrangements will be made, and an additional cost will apply. Check-in and check-out flexibility will be applied where possible, but this will depend on housekeeping schedules and the departure and arrival days of other guests either side of your stay; a definitive answer can only be provided within 24 hours of your arrival for check-in and of your departure for check-out.
Pool and garden maintenance will take place during your stay. The days and approximate times will be shown in the villa information books.

The payment of a Tourist Tax has been implemented for all arriving visitors on or after 01 October 2024 across all of Madeira and Porto Santo by the local Municipalities.
This applies to all visitors to Madeira aged 13 or over, and costs 2€ per person per day up to a maximum of 14€ per person.
Your accommodation is responsible for collecting these amounts and paying them on your behalf to the applicable municipality.
