A wonderful home that met all our needs. The check in process was painless and the property managers were very responsive. The living area was slightly smaller than I expected but the outdoor space definitely made up for it. We spent most of our time outside anyway. The kitchen was well stocked but could use another big bowl or two. The ice maker was a nice addition. The house was equipped with plenty of toys for the water and beach. Only one bike was functional after we got air in the tires but it was nice to have on hand. It would definitely be a house we would return to.
Everything was nice and the house was great. The only issues that I would mention would be that the listing states that there is a hot tub (which we were excited about) but there is not one. It also lists bikes for riding, but all of the bikes had flat tires that were off the rim and couldnât be inflated. Otherwise everything was great.
The home is well stocked, we loved the outdoor spaces and that they offered chairs and a large floating mat. We were walking distance from the beach. We kayaked to see the sunrise and sunset was great too! Julie was very responsive and we loved our vacation. This was our first one without my husband and the kids father. We came to Topsail because we have so many memories here.
It was a nice quiet neighborhood. Close to a store and the "infamous "Trailer Bar".
Loved the views. Place was well equipped, clean and very comfortable beds. We would definitely recommend and stay again. Owners were easy to communicate with whe n asking a guestion upon arrival.
This home is lovely with everything you need. A short walk to the beach, but life on the canal has been our favorite yet. Nice swim pad to swim in the bayâŠgreat dock for fishing or sitting and reading. The home was very welcoming and comfortable! Communication, check in, check outâŠ.excellent.
My family had the best time! The location was perfectly located near shopping and restaurants but far enough away to enjoy quiet nights on the dock or waking on the beach. We fished, went swimming, kayaked up the canals, caught crabs and got pretty good at ring toss!!!
Enjoyed the property, clean and conveniently located for beach and boating. Only issue was boat ramp is in disrepair so could not launch or trailer boat - had to do so at NCWildlife ramp which is not too far away. Docking was fine though. Enjoyed the kayaks and local fishing. Thanks for a great stay.
Julie was super helpful providing timely replies to questions we had leading up to our trip and even during the week of! The house was clean and the updates were very nicely done. We enjoyed having access to the kayaks to enjoy a couple of Topsail Island sunsets. Location was great just a few minutes to Pelican's snocones and fresh seafood at Surf City and Sneads Ferry.
My family had a great week at this property. Clean and up to date with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The location was perfect and we really loved having our boat docked right at the house. The property manager was very attentive making sure we had everything we needed for a great vacation.
Super nice house that is perfectly clean and well furnished. Docked our boat behind the house and had easy acess to everything. Would definitely stay again.
Our stay was great. The house was very clean and newly furnished. The location was perfect. Quiet and relaxing. This was our first time staying at this property but we will definitely visit again.
This home offers a great location with brand new updates! The owners are amazingly helpful and have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable and easy. You are 3 homes from the sound and 2 blocks from the beach! The bedrooms are large and nicely decorated! Thanks for sharing your home, Scott and Julie!
Easy-going, blessed, family-oriented traveler that loves to explore new places and meet new people!
Favorite things in life I would never want to live without: My family (wonderful husband, parents, children and grandchildren), my Lord, my friends, coffee (and lots of it!) and my sweet dog, Nettie.
My husband and I love to travel and "do what the natives" do. I enjoy finding out where the locals hang out and partaking in favorite eats, drinks and dancing.
We chose this wonderful island property because of it's spectacular location in southeastern North Carolina . It's on a canal that leads directly into the intra-coastal waterway, and is only a few short blocks from the ocean. The closest public beach access offers restrooms, playground, adult outdoor workout area and free parking. It's close to everything, yet removed enough you can feel the relaxation of island life!
This home has it all! Newly redecorated! Updated kitchen with wonderful open concept allows you to enjoy your guests as dinner is being prepared. Screened in decks, outdoor sitting, and large covered dock on the canal are perfect for socializing, fishing, crabbing and swimming!
