The ground floor of this charming cottage houses an open-plan living, and dining area, and a well-equipped kitchen, allowing for intimate moments and delicious meals. The bathroom offers modern amenities while maintaining the cottage’s unique character. The bedroom, located on a mezzanine level, adds a touch of adventure with its low-sloping ceiling, creating a cosy, tucked-away retreat. The entire cottage is thoughtfully decorated in a Japanese style, predominantly using wood materials, to create an authentic and calming atmosphere. Step outside onto your private terrace, to hear the peaceful sounds of the ornamental fishpond. Here, you’ll discover the private hot tub, inviting you to unwind beneath the open sky, day, or night. Whether you’re soaking in the hot tub or relaxing indoors in front of the wood-burning stove, you’ll find the perfect balance of modern comfort and serene oriental charm.

There are many walks through the beautiful countryside. From Squire Farm, you can walk out of the door and choose from three different walking routes along well-marked footpaths. There’s Offa’s Dyke path, which runs from near Chepstow in South Wales to Prestatyn in the north. Also not far away is the Jack Mytton Way and The Shropshire Way. Bucknell itself has a village shop, a garage, a butcher, and a post office. You’re ideally situated to explore the surrounding charming towns of Ludlow famous for its food festivals and year-round events, Knighton and Clun all offering a good range of shops.
