Canonteign Cottage is a beautiful four-bedroom holiday home set within the idyllic grounds of Canonteign Falls on the eastern edge of Dartmoor National Park. The property can comfortably accommodate up to eight guests and showcases an outdoor swimming pool, hot tub and a large garden. Free entry to Canonteign Falls during opening hours is included and guests will be able to explore the waterfalls and parklands, along with a great café and gift shop.



As you enter the cottage, you will instantly feel at home in the stylish kitchen/dining room with a good range of appliances. This then leads through to a snug seating area and the living room with a corner sofa and cosy wood burner. Two of the bedrooms are located on the ground floor along with the family bathroom. Head upstairs to discover the other two bedrooms, one with en-suite facilities, and also another family bathroom.



In front of the property is a large garden which has many desirable features such as an outdoor heated swimming pool, an 8-seater hot tub, patio area, lawn, garden furniture, barbecue, firepit, table tennis, swingball, badminton and bicycle storage. There is also a tennis court in the grounds which is available on request. Please note the swimming pool and hot tub are available from Easter until the end of September unless by prior arrangement.



Canonteign Cottage is an ideal base within the heart of Devon in Dartmoor National Park, 30 minutes from the coast and 25 minutes to Exeter. Escape from the hustle and bustle at this peaceful location with the convenience of the A38 being just a 7-minute drive away and the A30 a 10-minute drive. Surrounded by small villages and an amazing local pub less than a mile away, there are some real treasures to be found, not least the café at Canonteign Falls (open March through October) boasting local, fresh home cooking with emphasis on food quality and healthy eating. Teign Valley Golf club is half a mile down the road.



One or more beds can be linked to form double or twin beds (please advise the owner of your preference soon after booking).

Security Deposit: A security deposit of £200 is required at this property. This will be collected automatically 7 days prior to arrival and refunded (unless a damage claim is received) 7 days after the end of your stay. Please note that your refunded security deposit will take 3-5 days to appear in your account. For your convenience, we’ll take this payment from the last card used to make payment to us. If you would prefer to use a different method of payment, please let us know before the security deposit is due.
