There are plentiful walks all around you when staying in Scone: one of our favourites is Kinnoull Hill woodland Park - just a short drive away and is a fantastic hike offering panoramic views of Perth, the River Tay and surrounding countryside. If you fancy painting the town red and making an entire evening out of it, try Dean’s on Kinnoull Street, or The Mexican on Atholl Street.But there`s more to Scone than its proximity to Perth. The local area itself has its own charms waiting to be discovered. A mere 5-minute walk will lead you to the Scone Arms, a local gem that`s perfect for indulging in evening meals and delightful drinks. Additionally, you can find parking on Victoria Road, which is a short 1-2 minute walk away.Please note, the property is situated very close to the main road. This is particularly quiet at night, and the bedroom is situated at the back of the property. As listed, there is no designated parking for Heatherwood Cottage however you will find free on street parking nearby. We`d be grateful if you could respect the neighbours` driveways. These require access at all times.
