Large characterful property

For our family of 5 this place was huge and could easily accommodate four adult couples without feeling crowded. The pool is big but surrounding tiles and steps in the water were a bit a slippery so children needed to be watched very closely. Despite being in the heart of a small village on the outskirts of Zminj the property itself has been well-landscaped to be feel very private but the large garden still gets plenty of sun throughout the day. We made full use of the many different dining areas around the property including the outdoor kitchen area. This farmhouse has been really nicely developed but there are lots of stairs throughout the property which might matter for the very young or less mobile. We were grateful of aircon on the ground floor and the provision of fans in each bedroom on the first floor. Zminj is a great base for exploring Istria, its lovely towns and coastline. Our journey to the southern tip of the cape was only 45 minutes.
