Rowan House is tucked away down a quiet residential cul-de-sac just a 10-minute walk from the vibrant town centre of Beverley in the East Riding of Yorkshire. This holiday home offers a stunning extended living/kitchen for a family of five or a group of friends looking to explore Beverley, the surrounding Yorkshire Wolds and the Yorkshire coastline.
Enter Rowan House and the living room features comfortable sofas and a welcoming gas fire for the cooler winter months. A Smart TV and DVD player will provide your evening entertainment. Step through into the large extended living/kitchen with its blue Shaker-style kitchen, wooden worktops and small central island. Throw open the bi-fold doors and enjoy outside/inside eating close to the dining table. With a comfortable seating area and a large wall-mounted Smart TV, this room will be the heart of your holiday home. A small toilet completes the ground floor accommodation. Retire in the evening to one of three bedrooms; the master kingsize double, a standard double and a single room. Each offers pretty soft furnishings and TVs. The house bathroom sits across the hall and provides a bath with a shower over. During the summer months enjoy the enclosed rear garden with its mature borders, patio area and neatly trimmed lawn. With additional seating, it offers the perfect spot for an early morning coffee or an alfresco evening meal.
The historic market town of Beverley is less than a 10-minute walk away and has a thriving market on Saturdays. Cobbled streets are packed with independent tea rooms, boutiques and a host of eateries and restaurants. You can also find many of the UKâs leading brands on the pedestrian high street. Spend a day exploring Westwood, an ancient area to the west of the town which is home to Beverley Racecourse which hosts race meetings throughout the summer and also offers a very popular golf course. The vibrant seaside town of Hornsea is a short drive away, offering a Victorian promenade and traditional fish and chip restaurants. For a little culture venture to the port town of Hull or head inland and visit the historic walled city of York. The Yorkshire Wolds offer miles of walking and cycling opportunities and for bird lovers, a must-visit would be RSPB Bempton Cliffs or the nature reserve at Spurn Point. Rowan House is a fantastic area of the country with a host of differing experiences close by which can be enjoyed throughout the year. Beach 14 miles. Pub and restaurant Ÿ mile.
