12A Modernised yet traditional house

Occupying an enviable position in the heart of Carvoeiro, this modernised yet traditional house is a hidden gem! Carvoeiro is an ideal location for families and couples, offering many wonderful restaurants, small shops and bars. This area has some of the most photographed beaches in the Algarve with Benegil caves and praia do Marinha being a five minute drive from the house.



The seven hanging valleys walking trail is easy to access and gives the opportunity to see some of the amazing coastline the area has to offer. There are several excellent golf courses within a five minute drive. For the children, Slide and Splash and Zoomarine are a fifteen minute drive. This house is located very centrally so a car is not necessary.

On entrance level there are three double bedrooms, one with en suite bathroom and a further family bathroom with walk in shower. Two have wonderful sea views from the windows. Stairs lead to the open plan living space comprising dining area, lounge and fully fitted modern kitchen. Large patio doors flood the area with light and open to a terrace running the length of the property. The views of the beach, town and sea are simply stunning.

Stairs lead to the expansive roof terrace with external dining area and BBQ with sun shade and a further seating area. The panoramic views from the terrace are breath-taking.

The property is extremely well furnished and modern but with traditional touches. The house is fully air conditioned and has heaters for the winter months.

SituĂ© dans un petit village charmant. TrĂšs belle vue et trĂšs belle terrasse. Logement bien Ă©quipĂ©.Bouteille de vin Ă  l’arrivĂ©e 😀 les hĂŽtes ont toujours Ă©tĂ© rapide Ă  nous rĂ©pondre . Si vous venez en voiture, je vous suggĂšre de stationner sur la rue R. do Povo do Burro.

Very happy with our stay. Unit was spacious and for six of us. We very much enjoyed the deck and spend each night on it drinking port and overlooking the city. The street in front of the unit is a very steep grade so be warned. It was not a problem for us. We would highly recommend.

We left a day early because there was a constant, terrible, nauseating smell. When we reported this to the agent she said it is from the drain being blocked by the cleaner. If it was that simple and a known problem it should have been remedied before our arrival. The property is nice but we could not live with the sewerage like smell any longer.

lovely house great location. Initially we felt the walk upto the house was going to be a problem as we’re all a bit old!!. However we soon found shortcuts and stairs to the town square which definitely made it easier. The house was well equipped. Just a few things we think would make it even better. There is a lack of mirrors. No mirrors in any of the bedrooms or anywhere in the house apart from two small mirrors in the shower rooms. This was problem when us girls are trying to apply make up and dry hair as had to wait until people finished showering to use bathroom mirrors. We also had an incident with the washing machine which flooded the ground floor. Fortunately we spotted it before it ruined our belongings. We spent over an hour mopping and drying the floors. One of the bedrooms got flooded.However we managed to prevent any major damage by removing all our stuff like suitcases shoes and other items fromthe room and dried them out on the roof terrace. About two hours later someone came to check the washing machine and told us not to use it for the remainder of our stay. This was a bit of an inconvenience. However, we loved the house and had a lovely holiday and would definitely r give it 5. stars

Had a great stay at this airbnb! Amazing terrace and views ! The place had everything we needed- great kitchen with all utensils, beds were super comfy and we all felt very relaxed. Also great location, few minutes walk from the beach and shops! Would definitely recommend!! Thanks for the lovely stay

Algarve Dream

Can’t imagine a better place or a better view in all of the Algarve! We could see the town and the beach from both the second and third levels of the home. A quick 4 minute walk down to the beach and all the restaurants. I would t want to stay anywhere else. We will surely return.

Incredible view !! Great location, close to beach and shops. Only a small car can drive up to the property as road is quite narrow, but we were able to find parking easily in May. Everything was clean and functional. And really, you can’t beat a view like that 🙂 thank you !

A week in Carvoeiro

The place worked perfectly for us. We did a lot of hiking and the rooftop deck was the perfect way to begin and end a day.

Sehr schönes Stadthaus in toller Lage,Sehr schöne Dachterrasse und auch sonst schön eingerichtet. Ortskern ĂŒber Treppen in 3 Minuten erreichbar. Nachts leider durch umliegende Kneipen sehr lauf. Eins der Schlafzimmer ohne Fenster/Tageslicht.

It is a wonderful apartment, with great amenities, beautiful views and great surroundings. You might want to mention in the description that it doesn't have a direct parking space. Fortunately, you can always find parking on the side of the street a little further up the street. In addition, it is rather a bit louder because of the central location and the seagulls in the evening. Otherwise highly recommended.
