Perched on the edge of the picturesque town of Aldeburgh, this elegant first floor apartment is ideal for a relaxing short break or seaside holiday exploring the Suffolk Coast.
Light floods the interiors which are spacious and beautifully furnished with a sociable living space running along the front of the apartment where you can enjoy preparing and savouring meals in the well-equipped kitchen/dining area, or relax on the Chesterfield sofa or designer chairs with a good book, some classical
ENTRANCE
The front door opens directly onto relatively steep carpeted stairs with a handrail rising to the first-floor apartment where the landing runs to the main bedroom and en-suite shower room at the end. There are two doors to the living space on the left, and doors to the twin bedroom and the bathroom on your right. The living space has a beautiful limed oak floor, bathrooms have tiles, and the landing and bedrooms are carpeted.
LIVING/KITCHEN/DINING ROOM
Light streams into this stylish room which is nicely divided with a well-equipped kitchen/dining room to one side and the living room on the other. Built in units run along one wall housing a fridge with four shelves and a deep veg drawer, a freezer with two deep drawers, an electric oven and four ring hob with extractor above, and slimline dishwasher. Other equipment includes a free standing microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, a kettle and a toaster. A handsome table sits in the centre of the room with a bench and four dining chairs and there are a couple of console tables giving extra storage.
The elegant living space is furnished with a bold Chesterfield sofa, designer chairs, a desk (perfect for those needing to study or work from home), coffee tables and a blanket chest providing a base for the large TV. There’s also a Bluetooth speaker for your entertainment.
MAIN BEDROOM
The king size bed takes pride of place in this stylish double aspect bedroom. There’s ample storage for you to unpack and settle in with an open wardrobe as well as a chest of drawers, and an attractive bench sits in the window recess inviting you to relax with a good book.
EN-SUITE SHOWER ROOM
This modern en-suite has a double shower cubicle with a rain shower, a wash basin, WC and a heated towel rail (towels are provided for all guests).
TWIN BEDROOM
Sitting quietly at the back of St Nicholas Court, this room has sturdy twin beds and a curtained wardrobe with a shelf and basket, a hatstand and a couple of chairs.
BATHROOM
The large chic bathroom has a shower wand and screen over the bath, a wash basin, WC, heated towel rail and natural light. The integrated units enclose a washer/dryer.
OUTSIDE
St Nicholas Court is an apartment building to the left of Victoria Road as you’re entering Aldeburgh, just a short walk from the heart of town and the beach. There’s allocated off road parking for one car in a private car park at the back of the building, a guest parking spot, and unrestricted parking on the road in front. As it can be a busy road, we recommend that you just use this space to off load.
Whilst the apartment is well sound-proofed please respect the neighbours and keep noise to a minimum. The steps are relatively steep, not ideal for guests with a mobility challenge. Pets are not allowed.
