The Byre in Longwitton, Northumberland, sleeps four guests in two bedrooms.
The living areas in this single-storey home consist of an open-plan kitchen, dining area and sitting area with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, Smart TV and woodburning stove, and a utility with washer/dryer and fridge/freezer. The bedrooms consist of a double and a twin, serviced by a bathroom. Outside there is a wrap-around, enclosed garden with lawn, patio and furniture, and off-road parking for three cars. This is a smoke-free property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. You'll find a shop in 8.3 miles and a pub in 3.6 miles. The Byre is a delightful base for a Northumberland escape. Note: The property rests on a working equestrian centre and farm. Owner needs to know if you're bringing a dog as this is a farm.

Visit the Belsay Hall, Castle, and Gardens for attractions, or find Kirkley and the Kirkley Hall Zoological Gardens. When you are in town, schedule time to go to the Carlisle Park grounds, play a round of golf at the Morpeth Golf Club, or visit the Morpeth Chantry Museum. Go to South Shields for a day at the beach filled with coastal attractions or explore the national park on foot or by bike for a more rural setting.
